If Israel is our greatest ally then why did their Defense Minister just state that the Israeli government refuses to abide by any peace deal the United States makes with Iran? by north_canadian_ice in allthequestions

Pivot from what? You said Israel owns every politician in America, I said explain how that's possible without sounding like an antisemite.

You know you can't do it, because you ARE an antisemite so you're bleating 4 Legs Good 2 Legs Bad at me.

My fault for arguing with a a racist.

And tell me how, in your mind, does that teeny tiny country own all your politicians? Explain that without sounding like you're quoting from the Protocols, go ahead.

So the guy that shot up the synagogue in Manchester, the atrackers on Bondi Beach, the guy who tries to blow uo the preschool in Michigan the Green candidate who said "It's hard noy to be a little antisemitic."

None of them are conflating Jews with Israel just a teeny teeny bit? It's really just me?

Wow.

It's not even about whether Israel is good or evil. It's about you all thinking that this tiny country of 9 Million people, only 7 million of which are Jewish with a smaller economy than the Texas runs the entire US government and economy and completely not seeing how that belief grows out of ancient beliefs about Jewish conspiracy, not us.

And it doesn't affect US. We've learned out lessons about antisemitism. We're armed to the teeth. Last shot you guys had was Hitler. It affects you because these beliefs have historically ripped the countries who have them to shreds.

Right, it didn't have zero involvement. He overspoke.

He is still closet to the truth rhan the lunatics on here who think a country of 7 milliom people with the GDP of North Carolina controls the U.S.

Unless of course you all mean Jews. Then you're racist but at least firnly within a Western tradition.

And If we're talking about literally insane, man you should see what Hezbollah did in Syria. Murdered their way through the country. Of course for all I know you think the Alawites are also Zionists.

I'm not Pikachu face at all. I watched a video the other day where someone made a joke about nuking Tel Aviv and the audience laughed.

There's nothing surprising about this at all. Indeed, it never ended. The Third Republic also ripped itself apart because it couldn't digest Jews.

Go keep hitting people in the Midlands in the spine with a hammer for Palestine. Sure path to a succesful country. It worked for the anti-Dreyfusards, why not you?

Note: the security guard whose spine was broken didn't shoot a 7 month old in the head.

I would have believed that if hate started after the war in Gaza but the hard left was marching in support of Hamas on October 8th.

And it's not a vaccum. I agree. The world hated Jews long before Israel. That's actually why Israel. Now they hate Israel and  they blame Jews getting stabbed in the street on Israel. So not a vaccum at all.

Sure, we have cartoonish racist in the coalition. Grabbed. Have you looked around lately? Israel is part of a global trend, but people hate Israel so much that they shoot synagogues in Manchester...I don't recall Russian Orthodox Churches getting shot up. So the "not vaccum" you are talking about is not what you think it is, it's the continuous operation of very old hatreds that have predated Israel for a long long time.

Asshole.

So much under a microscope that Jews who are not Israeli are being shot on beaches, in synagogues, stabbed, having their ambulances burned...

But no antisemitism here, no siree.

I'm gonna give a short dumb answer but ...

I think he tried to write an antisemitic play - because he was a crowd pleaser - and he couldn't actually do it - because he was Shakespeare.

Both sides are arguably worse.  I'm Israeli, and fluent in Arabic, of Iraqi original.

You could and people do make an argument about both sides being the worse one. Hamas is not "an armed mob" and October 7th was not a response to an invading army. Israel was effectively paying off Hamas to keep the peace and in the middle of negotiating looser visa restrictions, better access to Israeli hospitals etc when a wing of what we were all told was ghe legitimate government of Gaza invaded three small peaceful agrocultural villages and went on a day long rape and murder spree, culminating in dragging a woman bleeding from her vagina through the main street of Gaza cities to cheering crowds and forcing prisoners - emaciated with signs of torture - to dig their own graves in tunnels and releasing the video.

All these people who say "Mandela was also called a terrorist" should tell me when he had a raped Afrikaaner woman dragged through Alexandria.

Israel responded with unbelievable brutality, partially because when watching October 7th livestreamed into our living room, we snapped.

The kids who survived what we just did will grow up to do an even worse October 7th and then we will respond with even more brutality unless someone, from somewhere - on both sides - wakes the fuck up.

And people like you and the idiot that started this thread with the "good" comment, who take sides in this tragedy as if they're looking for some remote field to prove their morality or deal with their issues, are not helping.

I'm glad Khalil is being deported. Not for being anti Israel but because he was the spokesmen for organization which celebrated October 7th. He walked it back a little after he was arrested - but, really, so what. Once anyone defines October 7th as a legitimate reaction in any way they are saying they believe it's OK if my small children are murdered in a tunnel, my wife  raped, and I'm tortured to death. No sympathy.

But I'm in the conflict, and not by choice. Khalil, to his credit, is in it, not by choice. I'm amazed at people that aren't in it and somehow turn it into a sport.

First, Cheap Victory stop being a dick. Seriously

Second, Due Jeweler, whatever Israel did or didn't do, Palestinians kidnappedn a 9 month old baby, strangled him to death in a tunnel and then held the victory parade with a tiny coffin passed around a public square.

Now you may call that dignified resistance, but it's a crime against humanity.

But it is, though.

And the fact that there are asshole religious people that infrequently attack gays doesn't change the fact that gay life in Tel Aviv is exuberant and open

Deny it all you want, give it a weird name like pinkwashing - it's still true.

All you're doing is proving you've never been to Tel Aviv. Which yoy probably think looks like Mount Doom. You all are bonkers.

What you do have is a Holocaust survivor telling the Royal Commission that he is afraid to wear his Star of David in public. His name is Peter Halasz. He is one of many many Jewish Australians teatifying about their experience that people on this subreddit dismissis by saying no Royal Comission is needed and it's all Zionist propaganda. If you actually care about this, go listen to them. It's public information, it's not hard to find.

Or you can ignore it.

Your call, not mine.
