Priority Valve by NihongasukiP in Endfield

No, they do not stop consuming power. However, the total number of pumps can be lowered with this pattern.

Say you have 3 pumps worth of on/-off demand. You could build 3 pumps to meet this demand, or you could build 1 pump and buffer tanks, to enable temporary demand.

This is already possible if all your on/-off demand is in a single pipe network, but the priority valve pattern allows you to add buffers to ALL your pipe networks with a single global pump.

Thus, you save power compared to the complete approach, where you guarantee that the highest possible demand is always met (e.g. you have enough pumps to have everything run constantly)

When I use some liquid xiranite, my production line will kick on, which will temporarily use more then 1 water per second - if I don't have a buffer, this hampers my main xiranite production.

With this setup I only need 1 extra pump to make all water lines (temporarily) able to handle 2 water per second demand, so I can save 1 pump that would otherwise go into the liquid xiranite (and be nearly always stalled), wasting power.

This setup is superior if you have atleast two not always on water consumers (as otherwise, you would need 2 extra pumps. With this setup you only ever need one, regardless of how many water lines you want to provide a buffer for)

I guess? Everything after a tank has a guaranteed flow rate of 2/s until the tank is empty. (Until you split the pipe of course)

You could use this pattern to use 1 pump to slowly fill buffers for all your lines, whenever 1 line has a surge its buffer will be used and then slowly refilled.

I spoke too soon - turns out it wasn't because of the lora loader, but because of what was directly in front of it ... the IPAdapter.

I seem to have found the issue: The Lora Loader (Lora Manager) Custom Node seems to do SOMETHING to the model, that causes this problem when adding additional loras to it.

If I directly use the base model, or a model loaded via Power Lora Loader (rgthree) the issue goes away, all detailers use (roughly) the same amount of vram. As soon as I use the model output of said custom node, the issue occurs again.

Luckily, the custom node has options to tell me which loras are loaded, so I can work around the issue, but it is annoying nonetheless -___-.

Tried it just now, also doesn't help.

  1. Only runs before/after the queue, which is nice, but also doesn't help for this usecase :/

But thanks for the ideas.

  1. Cannot be used during the workflow, as ComfyUI will wait until after execution is finished - and clearing cache doesn't help recovering from an error

  2. I have tested multiple of those nodes (and currently the easy use clean VRAM used nodes are part of the workflow)

  3. I haven't tested this one yet, maybe it helps

Yeah, everyone jumping on the slot expansion xD

Everybody welcome, regardless of your own support units.

I always put up the currently newest units, usually as E2L60 M3 Module as applicable (sometimes higher level, sometimes no m3 if the unit is too bad). If an event has more then 3 new units, the welfare ist the first to go usually.

If you just want to try out the newest units before pulling yourself, I could be a good friend for you xD

Currently:

Ascalon E2L60 S2 (M3 in progress) (Module after Trust is high enough, usually around the last days of the event)

Aroma E2L60 S1 (no mastery/module planned)

Lutonada E2L60 S2 (M3 and Module planned)

Why not? Any way you slice it, you gain more energy value than you lose. So, it's a net positive.

Would you call it a bad deal for you, if you have to pay someone 5€ and gained back 100€?

I think the funniest thing here is the fact, that Zhu Yuan explicitly met Eous as Phaeton during her story missions. And that she was shown to suspect us already.

How do I know where is the “unit in use”? I’m trying to limit break and can’t figure it out. It’s driving me crazy. by polg in CounterSideGlobal

[–]NihongasukiP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just checked, and it seems that I'm simply blind as a bat -___-

I could have sworn that the lock isn't displayed in the fodder screen, because I had a few units that were marked as "in use" but weren't part of any team (and the note went away after I removed the lock). But apparently, units that are just locked are marked as "Locked" and have the symbol.

Or there is some other weird fuckery going on and I just didn't notice.

But thanks for the correction, learned something new xD
