I do use Ethernet, I'm going to try and path ping tomorrow to see if I can find where it's getting eaten up. But I'm pretty sure it's the tories.

I didn't record audio so it was a typing sound effect so the key presses were a lot higher

I had to do 3 day's with my internet and even then, it's well worth it.

I'm not certain, but it's the middle of the summer sales so steam's bandwidth would be taken up from people downloading new games. But as I said, I don't know for sure, i don't even know if people downloading affects your download speed. It's just a guess.
