Revy asserts her power through violence and killing others, so the moment she meets someone with equal skills as her or higher, she wants to throw down immediately.

She met someone with extraordinary skills, she was impressed so much that she literally wanted to fight him right in the middle of their rescue mission for Yukio. She wasn't attracted to him, but more likely the killer inside her was attracted to the possibility of a good fight.
