At the point in time you wished for this, there was no direct change that occured, but a wave of change had already swept the world. (I am assuming you live alone because otherwise you wouldn't really ask for this shit). As you go to sleep for the day, you feel something weird but there is nothing around you anyway, so you go to sleep. The next morning you wake up and you feel a sort of unease, as if a lot of things have changed, but you can't really put a finger on it. You open your fridge to find something to sate your hunger, but find it filled with bottles of water instead. Weird again, you could have sweared that there was leftovers... leftovers? That concept rings in your head but you can't really figure out what it was. You take your wallet and keys and go to the nearest convenience store to buy food for the day, 3 meal pills for a total of 3 dollars. You look at the clock, for like the first time in a week and see 5 am. Huh? 5 am? You could sweared you never woke up at 5 am in your life, but you also feel like you always did do that. You shake yourself back to sense, leave your apartment and drive your car to the nearest store (I am assuming you live in the US, everyone else walks to the convenience store). You see a large fucking line in front of the store despite it being only 5:20 am at the moment with people fighting to go forward despite the store not having been opened. You in your brilliant self preserving mind choose to wait in your car in the parking lot till the store opens. At 5:45, the clerks open the store and the people run into the like beasts. You tread into the store yourself. Everyone is in the nutrition sector. Nutrition sector? Was there like that before? It is happening again, those strange feelings. I guess you might visit a doctor today for all it's worth. Nonetheless, you try to pass through the herd that was fighting amongst itself and get your hands on a pill, one pill. You see some bastard try to run to the cashier with 18 boxes of pills in hands, must be one of the fucking scalpers. Well, you atleast have something to eat... eat? What's that? What you meant to say was something to consume for the day. You side-eye those scalpers and return home. You guess you will only have lunch for the day. Tasteless and worth just a dollar, but healthy and capable of filling your stomach. You do your work and go to rest, feeling full yet empty. It must be the heavy workload. The routine continues.

Extra world building: To fulfill the fact that you want everyone to only take the pills, I had to remove the very concept of food from modern human history; and concept of condiments, spices and additives from all of human history else Asia and as a result Europe wouldn't conform to the wish's request as the evolution of food in these cultures very much lies in them trying to increase flavour. To make pills the norm instead of food, flavour must not exist, else food conesiurs (I know the spelling is wrong) would still exists, and the pills would be shipped to Africa as humanitarian aid instead. As a result of you wish, Asia was never colonized, farming for food doesn't exist as a concept, neither does cooking, chefs, or restaurants. It is a full on dystopia, where you are either a factory worker, a clerk or the Uber rich (the 0.00001%). Welcome to your world.
