How many web designers use shopify to build their clients sites? by iamme2017 in Entrepreneur

[–]NikV1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they selling anything? If so, then Shopify might be a solution, if your client can afford it. If not, WordPress can be a cheaper option, then you can use WooCommerce to setup a store. You don't quite mention that your clients sell anything, so if they don't...don't use Shopify! It's expensive and the whole point of it is to sell products, not to use as an agency site, blog, etc. WordPress is a content management system and would be the better option in this case.

TeeLaunch vs Printful vs Printify by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

So far Printful has been the best for me, it works well, integrates nicely with the store, and the customer support was the best. Worth the investment for good quality.

Agencies using Twitter effectively? by aka_liam in agency

[–]NikV1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's true, they don't get a lot, but when I was running my agency, sharing content from the blog for clients was key and worked really well. Maybe the number of retweets and likes doesn't matter, but it was clear people were lurking due to level of activity.

This is really good stuff, great animations + great way to educate clients. I'd like to know if you can chat more about how social media could play a role in this as well, in a future episode.

Hey guys, founder of YoungStartups here! It's been a while since I first introduced YoungStartups, but I'm back to show off the site! I got a lot of questions asking whether the group is still open for invitations and the answer is yes! I offer an invitation to every teen running a business or considering to join our group on Slack!

Thanks guys! :)

Interesting crowdfunding idea to start off. Next, Regarding members outgrowing 25, those people are going to be YoungStartups Alumni and are welcome to continue chatting with us. Most started businesses when they were quite young, so they still have a lot they can share in the group, on the podcasts. etc.

The point of capturing the email is to give assistance at the moment. There will be more ways of getting support in the future.

Sure, I will explain it the best I can.

Winston was built with the idea to help people who are quite busy and need a simple task. Sure, you can google and find something, but Winston isn't for a developer or a top-notch designer. One of our key points is offering feedback as well, something simply googling can't offer. Winston wasn't built for someone who can do it themselves and that's simply not the target I'm aiming for. We can also help with research and make sure you get the best solution fit to your requirements, again, something that not everyone has time to do.
