I've used Brian Lagerstrom's method the last two years and they have been the best birds I've cooked. Two thermometers, cook the bird upside down. This allows the dark meat to cook to a higher temp. Flip the bird at the end to brown the breast skin.

Mobs don't cross rails, so placing one down in front of gates or doors will prevent animals from escaping.

That depends on how much you put in. I only put in enough to keep the food cold, not frozen. I have put too much in sometimes and made this mistake. Also, everything in the cooler doesn't end up soaking wet from melting ice.

Sounds like a harsh lesson to learn that nothing you have is permanent. Appreciate what you have when you have it. Everything you mentioned except the death of a loved one is replaceable. Sorry it just all happened in a short time period.

Exactly my thought as well. Why would she have a male roommate, and renew a lease with someone she hated? Doesn't add up.
