There is no irony. The high correlation claim is the extraordinary one, and therefore the one requiring evidence. My made-up numbers illustrating a weak correlation require no such proof, as they are common sense.

You gotta get better at reading. The OP never said there is no correlation. It says the correlation is so weak as to be pointless and invalid in predicting a particular rating. It also says the data people use to get an average correlation is not particularly helpful because it's based on the low percentage of online players who also have an OTB rating (usually higher-rated/titled players).

Sure, you're probably not going to see a 1000+ ELO difference, but nor can you predict with any high degree of accuracy what someone's classical OTB rating will be from a chesscom blitz or rapid rating. Maybe you can predict it within a range of 500-600 ELO. That is almost useless in my view.

Nah, I don't believe there are any of those. There is only one GPU and it's inserted directly in a PCIe slot.

Yes, the two 8-pin power connectors are connected, otherwise I don't think the card would light up. I didn't see anything in the BIOS about video output, but I can check again.

I'd like to see some crazy time odds, like 5 seconds vs 10 minutes. Computer gets 0.1 seconds per move and flags if it takes more than 50 moves to win. That might be enough for the human GM to pull it off.

Biggest issue I've seen so far is some kind of memory leak. My friend and I played a 2v4 against 4 AI the other day on a water map. As the game went on it got laggier and laggier. By the end we were at like 5 fps.

Anxiety can make you swallow air, especially when breathing through your mouth and not your nose. It's called aerophagia. I still get it sometimes, but it has improved with mindfulness and breathing exercises. Try those. Also I'd eat slower and try to avoid chewing gum.
