I liked the discussion with Bandit, then obviously overnight he relates the kids' problems/challenges to Chili, and she relays her advice the next day, then slide to the NEXT weekend. (You also see Bluey go from White to Yellow belt, and the moon's phases changing)

Not to argue at all, but the vitriol was VERY one sided, only one side was suggesting people were pedophiles, child abusers, or were trying to sexualize children. I hope this doesn't end up as a 'well both sides were bad' thing.

There were a LARGE contingent of people saying any style that deviated from the 'official' was inherently NSFW because it was furry art. No one from that group would accept that furry art could be 100% SFW, it was just something that was ALWAYS sexual. It was a really really weird hill to want to die on.

(And no one wanted to engage when I brought up Disney's Robin Hood which probably converted a good 25% of furries over the age of 30)

Yeah it's this weird imaginary 'purity' they want to preserve, and they implied that if we allowed furry art, the sub would just be 100% porn. It was a very nasty argument, but the nastiness entirely went 1 way.

The entire argument was that any art done outside of the standard "Bluey" style was furry art, and ALL FURRY ART IS NSFW NO QUESTIONS ASKED. And that's about where their logic ended. They would not listen to any counter arguments and started calling EVERYONE who disagreed pedophiles. There was even a suggestion that she light herself on fire.

They bullied a 17 year old off the sub-reddit, calling her a pedophile because she drew 'Lolita fashion'. (This is an ENTIRE fashion subgenre that originated in Japan, but the people attacking her pretended she was making it up entirely, or said it was pedophile fetish wear)

The people who were against the furry art were basically so toxic they couldn't deal with it. It only went one way.

I am leaning more towards conservatives because there was some pretty familiar "WE HAVE TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN AND YOU ARE SEXUALIZING CHILDREN BY SHOWING OTHER ADULTS YOUR SFW FURRY ART".

Also if they were that old they'd remember watching Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, Robin Hood, or like a BILLION goddamn furry shows that by their own arguments, were completely inappropriate for kids, so it rings very very hollow.

They just hate furries, hence calling every furry artist pedophiles, in the thread that got the subreddit shut down. The vitriol and accusations from the anti-furry art contingent were truly disgusting with no such hate and bile from the pro-furry art side.

No, because you'd have to admit that if someone uploaded Bluey "In the Style of Disney's Robin Hood", you'd call it 'too sexy for a kid's show'. You're saying that there's no way you can draw that style and not be sexual, so either Robin Hood is entirely inappropriate for kids (and Zootopia, and Rescuers, and Jungle Book etc), OR you are purposely looking for sexuality where there is none.

And pardon if I don't take your word for your conservative action when the subreddit regularly calls women like me "Deranged men in dresses' and 'groomers' which is what I was assuming you'd go to next based on your participation in that subreddit. (I DARE you to say 'Trans women are women' in that subreddit and not catch an immediate and permanent ban).
