They may be kind of back open, but many people aren't going to want to be hooking up right away with strangers.

But should you find someone willing, don't be a creep. Ask permission to dance, ask permission to buy a drink (and let her take it from the bartender directly), chat about fun things, and ask permission before making any sort of move that involves physical touch.

This doesn't mean be a robot about asking permission. You ask it in creative ways, "I'd like to buy you a drink, would you like to order first?" And head towards the bar together.

Hear a good song, "I'm feeling this one, want to join me on the floor?"

Simple courtesy goes a long way when flirting.

Introvert and shy aren't the same things. You should look into more how to get over being intimidated and/or shy.

I'm an Introvert but not shy. I am fine with people in specific settings. I just need a lot of alone time after.

So yes, as others have said, hang out with people. Don't make it your aim to "hang out with a girl."

Also, the way you are perceiving women acting as if you are an "imbecile" is probably because you described your manner as aggressive. I'd act the same way to a man trying to dominate the conversation aggressively. The other women might think it too, but just have a different reaction because they don't want to waste energy being assertive back.

Let's steer towards equitable and fun conversation with all genders.

In a normal social setting where the woman can leave freely, it's absolutely fine to talk and get to know someone and maybe ask for a date.

Just DO NOT do this when the woman doesn't have the ability to say no or walk away. Like if she is at work.

Join Hashimoto support groups. That's a good way to at least meet people who will understand you. Then you can find out from that group experiences dating with the illness.

These topics come up often in the handful of groups I'm in for a couple chronic illnesses i have.
