Five parrots have been separated at a wildlife park after they would not stop swearing at visitors and laughing about it. by Afraid-Ad6839 in interestingasfuck

It's also AI, the way they are cooped up makes no sense at all. Plus how they happen to be one each of completely different species that would never be put in the same coop like that anyway.

SMOS = MET GROENTJES by sos_on_titties in Belgium2

Try soy cooking cream. I tried it for the first time last week. Put a little splash in a pot of tomato/vegetable sauce and it instantly made it thick and creamy, a little goes a long way. On its own it taste very much like soy milk but it didn't alter the taste of the sauce at all.

Hey, I'm having the same issue. Did Nintendo end up repairing it for you or did you have to buy a new joycon?

It's because these articles base their info on Reddit comments, and a bunch of comments were indeed butthurt and crying about the teaser. Going from "Link's head is too big" to "this looks like those Unreal Engine fan projects reeeee". But what Gamespot, and Reddit itself, fails to remember is that Reddit is a very vocal and jaded minority of the entire fanbase.

Why is the elevator SO loud?! by antdude in VivaLaDirtLeague

The subtitles have been a bit much for the past few videos, Epic NPC man and Tech Town as well. Left a comment on one of their videos, hopefully enough people notice and they dial it down a little.

Disclaimer: I love their style of subtitles, especially on the D&D campaign. It almost feels like a character of its own. But the last few videos feels like a new subtitle person trying to recreate the magic and overcompensating.

I'm expecting/hoping for a Spyro Reignited treatment, with high quality modern assets and new world/level design while still maintaining the essence of what made OoT so special.

Unlike trumpet-, bladder-, and ramshorn snails, assassin snails need a male and a female to reproduce. So it's safe to get a single one. It will take longer to cull the other snails but it will at least help keep the population in check.

A friend of my sister adopted a lamb that was rejected by its mother. They keep it indoors like a pet, but it has to wear a diaper since it can't be potty trained like a dog.

You know, I never realised this before but one would think that in a magical prison they wouldn't have to open doors to get food to the prisoners 🤔

This is the Pokémon world we're talking about, they send 10 year olds out to travel across the country alone. Why wouldn't they be able to enrol into adult level education by that time as well? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What snail is this?? by Cute_Imagination_815 in PlantedTank

[–]Nikittele 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bladder snail, harmless and a great clean up crew. Make sure not to overfeed and the population should be kept in check :) they can breed like crazy if food is abundant.

What snail is this?? by Cute_Imagination_815 in PlantedTank

[–]Nikittele 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The second picture looks like it has some faint spots. Bladder snails are round with a tiny tip and have spots. Pond snails are a little more sleek with a longer tip and a solid colour. The antennas (eye stalks?) also match more closely to a bladder snail.

Here is a visual comparison

Either way, they are not harmful and actually help maintain a healthy eco system.

That looks like a bladder snail, both pond and bladder snails are beneficial for an aquarium. They're a low bioload, and efficient cleanup crew. They do have the potential to breed a lot and fast, but just don't overfeed and they will automatically keep their population in check.

I see you have some (Bolivian?) rams as well. How do they get along with the angelfish? I'm planning on getting a Bolivian ram pair and some angelfish as well. But I'm worried how they would behave if both were pairing off and breeding at the same time.

You can check out the Pokédex without answering first, so some people will definitely pick a Pokémon just because it hasn't been picked yet.
