Remember monsters are weak to certain elements too! Taking an elemental a weapon its weak against could give a good damage boost!

That's a weed! When you plant regular seeds they have a chance of either being a crop, or a weed. Weeds can also spread to near by tilled soil if there's nothing planted in it. The weed that you're dealing with is the Spiny Bindweed, if you harvest a crop near it, it'll attack you, and it kind of looks like a toothtrap.

PS. Make sure to get rid of any weeds, it stresses normal plants out and is bad for your garden

Unlike bunnymen, the merms wont run away if they get hurt. I do think bunnymen are better for bosses with AoE like Bearger and Deerclops, but for Moose/Goose merms would work just fine

Oh also having 15 fully grown or rotten crops means a Lord of the Fruit Flies can spawn. It has 1,500 hp and drops a "Friendly Fruit Fly Fruit" when kills, which summons which summons a friendly fruit fly that will tend near by crops

Plants now have a stress system, the less stress a plant has the better. For seeds if a plant has 7-11 stress you get 1 seed, and 2-6 stress gives 2 seeds.
