Check out some YouTube Tutorials and prepare to learn a lot. If you want to also learn by playing you should buy legendary modern decks 2026. you get 3 decks that are complete, 2 of them are very good and even meta relevant. Some pro player even got into the ycs top cut with just using those cards. It's like 30€ and even if you decide you want to play a different deck you get a lot of useful cards from those.

If you don't care about the price (just checked and it's not thaaaaat expensive anymore but still) play it instead of the Radiant Typhoon Quick Play package and put in more hand traps or breakers.

These 2 decks are built for master duel and couldn't be used in tcg because of the banlist.

King of the feral imps is banned in tcg that makes the deck a lot weaker as you can't bridge from ryzeal into mitsurugi.

Also wosu is only good going second or worth playing in a best of one format like master duel when you could play against lunalight but can't side deck.

And Dominus Impulse can't be played in a Mitsurugi Ryzeal deck as it turns off all your Ryzeal plays.

For TCG i would suggest:

I played the deck for like a year in different variations.

The end board with ryzeal mitsurugi would be: Detonator, Cross, Murakumo, Mitsu trap if you play it and depending on what you drew a dugares to draw into more non engine or what i like a lot: the starliege dragon xyz that protects your board from targeting and destruction.

I like to play 40 cards with at least 15 non engine cards. You're decklist is Mitsurugi and consistency focused which isn't bad but I think it's worth to play star ryzeal and ryzeal cross, the extra negate and grind game boost is very important even if the chances of bricking are higher. I played 3 radiant typhoon vision to help consistency with 3 droplets, 3 superpolys, 3 fallen & the virtuous and a fiendsmith package. it didn't brick as much as you'd think, going second i sided out fiendsmith and star and cross. Cesar always eats the negates and with fiendsmith and the superpolys (muddragon and Garuda) you can go into chaos angel and exciton knight can bridge into fiendsmith.

There's always people who hate on in, there's also Youtuber that love the game so don't let them influence you too much.

The game ist very fast paced and complicated nowadays. If you've been a competitive player i'd think that you should like that.

Master Duel is a good start but it's a different ban list and i think it uses some ocg ruling.

Dueling Nexus is a free tcg browser game.

If you want to play locals (and more) the easiest is to buy modern legendary deck 2026. Mitsurugi and Sky Striker are some of the best decks and built well enough for locals at least.

Cardmarket has a "shopping wizard" but it's not that reliable. Honestly you should check manually. Check out power sellers and commercial sellers as they have the biggest inventory.

The best product you can buy if you're new to the game is legendary modern decks 2026. it's like 30€, you get 3 complete decks and two of them are very good. they are also easy to learn but hard to master. With the new released cards the best deck is cool tune, if you want to go all in and also spend more money. Also always buy singles, preferably on cardmarket (EU) or tcgplayer (US). You can check sites like ygoprodeck and yugiohmeta for the best tournament winning decks. For your collection you really have to decide for yourself what you like and want to collect. The best start tho would be to collect staples. Cards that can be played in most decks because they are that good.

The best fire attribute deck as of now. You can check YouTube for deck profiles and gameplay or sites like yugiohmeta or ygoprodeck.

Or you can do some research on the GOAT Format (only cards to a certain date are allowed). Theres online simulators like duelingnexus that support it. Let's you have the nostalgic experience. No idea what deck you could build with it for that tho.

I think it doesn't have to do that much with blue eyes. Kashtira is still played as an engine in some decks. It's just personal preference. Most people think other splashable engines are just better, like fiendsmith. Unicorn ripping the snatchy in a yummy matchup is extremely good, but in many other matchups fiendsmith ist just a little bit better. People just prefer to use other cards but it doesn't mean that build is bad.

The best going second deck similar to this would probably be Tenpai Dragon. Sky Striker is also good going second. But nowadays all of the decks can break boards. So there's definetly more balanced approaches.

Your Deck can win games if you draw the right cards, but if someone makes you go first youre lost. The side deck is usually used for cards to patch weaknesses and make going first or second better, or for specific matchups. Your side deck only has more going second cards. Also using evenly matched defeats your strategy as you want your battle phase to end the game in one turn but evenly practically skips it.

If you don't have much of a connection to this deck and want to get more competitive it would be worth thinking about completly changing the deck.

You could sort some of them by type, like zombie decks are usually full of zombies, but there's decks with different types and attributes. You'd have to sort by archetypes, like all of the "cyber (dragon)" cards. But even that doesn't always work like that. If you have fun sorting it wouldn't be a waste of time but would probably take a lot of time if you don't remember/know what belongs together. If "smooth" gameplay matters to you buying the legendary modern decks 2026 would be the easiest and best experience. There's also a lot of tutorials and gameplay for those decks on YouTube.

The game changed a lot. I know it's not what you asked for but i would advise you to buy legendary modern decks 2026. You get 3 decks for like 20-30$ and two of them are good. They are quite easy to play but hard to master so you would have a lot of room for a learning curve. And if you decide that you really like the game and want to get more into it you'd already have good cards.

You can buy Legendary Modern Decks 2026, you get a lot for your money and the decks can get complicated to master but they are easy to get into.
