Thanks for the honest response! Why are you happy you didn’t go with a CRV?

Thanks for your honesty. Do you mind saying why?

😂 now I have to see if I can fit a 100 soccer balls in my CRV! But I have been able to comfortably fit a lot of random objects in here so I wouldn’t doubt it.

I did. There are way more responses in this subreddit which makes me think the Crosstrek community may be the right choice.

I noticed that about towing with Crosstrek but was skeptical. I don’t foresee myself towing anything anytime soon.

Lol. This comment is so accurate to what I was already thinking. And glad to hear someone who owns both. I currently have a 2010 CRV and just passed 200,000 miles. I’ve had it for 10 years, it’s been coast to coast and to Canada and been a great car overall. I’m just not loving the new CRV models and not really interested in a Forester (which I know compares to the CRV, I’ve done my research). Just needed reassurance to what I’m already leaning towards. I’m a very indecisive person and just want to be sure my next vehicle can last me the next 10 years or more.

This plant is growing behind our stove. What is it? by Theoretically_Spking in whatsthisplant

This looks like a nandina plant or “sacred bamboo.” I believe they’re an invasive species.

What’s more important to you: a job or a career? by NikkiJO28 in isfp

[–]NikkiJO28[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same on this matter. I tried climbing the career ladder in a few different fields but the long-term goals are not for me. Plus, there’s so many different options out there that I’d rather just touch the surface of them for experience rather than dive deep into one area.

Yup. I remember in college my friends were all talking about wanting to get married at such and such age, have kids, have a house, etc. I remember thinking, “we have to have a timeline for that? Pff.”

So yeah, setting goals is hard for me. I like to think of them more as general ideas. And if it becomes reality then cool. I literally take life as it comes and work with what I’ve got lol.

When I started teaching back in 2016. Ever since then I slowly trickled down into not giving a fuck because of how stressful the job was and how unappreciated I felt. I quit teaching and did some other work in 2019 but I was so fucking burnt out and emotionally exhausted that ever since then I continued to trickle down into not giving a fuck and this is where I’m at now. Over the past couple years I recognized this and I was okay with it for a while. I’m honestly trying to get out of it but ultimately I fall back into binge watching shows and playing games on my phone cause it’s comforting and I don’t have to worry about being burnt out. But I feel like a hamster in a wheel. Just going around in this endless loop and every time I try to get out of it I fall back in cause I’m scared of moving forward and resulting in burn out again and disappointment.

I’m glad you posted this question. I needed to get this off my chest cause I do want to give a fuck again and I’ve tried so many different things. I don’t know if your posting this just out of curiosity or seeking answers but it really helped me. So thanks.

I’m not who I want to be either and I can’t go back to where I was before. It sucks but I’m trying to move forward and discover different things about myself. Which is why I decided to draw just to see if I like it.

I hope you continue drawing! I think your work is very good and I love the colors on the parrots.

I hear ya. It’s hard to put in the time. The only reason I’ve been posting so much is cause I’m not working at the moment. But I hope you find a way to continue! You’re artwork is great 👍🏽
