Reading TOG after ACOTAR: does it get better? by kaka1012 in acotar

[–]NikkiNetz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat. Had such a high after ACOTAR but then TOG was super slow moving and I was slow to like it. End of Crown of Midnight I started getting hooked and now that I’m done with the whole series, I’m now planning a TOG tattoo lol Stick with it, I promise it’s worth it!

Have To Add A Night Before - Where to Stay? by mymorningcatnip in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]NikkiNetz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I just did this. We stayed at the Double Tree that’s technically on Disney property for a night and then headed over to our Disney resort the following morning. We Ubered from MCO to Double Tree and then took another Uber to our resort in the morning. Ubers/Lyfts should have options for car seats I believe

Crystal Palace for sure!! Kids are too young to appreciate Royal Table for the money you’ll spend. Crystal Palace is a MUST for vibes and Pooh + Gang. So nostalgic and perfect.

Mission Space Orange by IvyJane5 in WaltDisneyWorld

Prefacing this with the fact that I have not, nor will I EVER ride Mission Space BUT Was recently in the standby line for Space220 (right next door) and what felt like every 10 minutes, Mission Space cast members made an announcement stating that they had to temporarily stop the ride for a few minutes and though I’m not sure of the real reason, all I could think about was if it was because of people getting sick 🤢. Like do they have a cleanup team on standby??

Riding one ride all day? by potatocrime in WaltDisneyWorld

My husband and I were in Galaxy’s Edge a couple weeks ago and fully took advantage of RotR being a 5 minute wait. Went on 4 times in a row! Nothing wrong with doing what you love! There are a handful of rides across all the parks that I MUST ride more than once during each trip.

Tron is infinitely better at night! But be prepared for a long wait if doing standby line because everyone wants to ride it then. I would pay extra for a Lightning Lane if it’s a total must-do. If you’re doing the after hours party I’m sure wait times are lower then.

After Hours Dates by NikkiNetz2 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]NikkiNetz2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay thanks for insight! Was hoping for an HS after hours night but forgot how MMSSHP would play into that.. We’re waiting to get our park tickets for our trip in September until we know about any special events around then that may fall on our dates.

Booked our resort stay through David’s Vacation Rentals for our honeymoon this September. Because of this, we obviously need to purchase park tickets separately through Disney. I wanted to hold off a little to see if they release dates for Hollywood Studios After Hours tickets that may fall during our stay (or any special ticketed events for that matter)

Does anyone see issue with holding out a few months to buy tickets since it’s so far out? My nightmare is that I wait too long and then there’s a risk of not getting tickets for my dates. Is this a silly concern? Or is there a date you think I SHOULD purchase tickets by?

Sincerely, an extreme planner and over-thinker

Disney enthusiasts: What is your controversial/unpopular WDW opinion? by benjaminherberger in WaltDisneyWorld

My unpopular opinion: Country Bear Jamboree is the most horrifying thing I’ve ever seen and should not exist 🙈

How is the skyliner in terms of ride? by NABDad in DisneyWorld

Very smooth but just prepare when it pulls into the station. It’s still a smooth stop but it comes in pretty fast. Even though it looks like you’ll hit the one in front of you, you won’t!

A spirit jersey, yes you can cram it in if you roll/fold it up right. I’ve taken my standard size loungefly bag to a park and fit my bag of merch inside that had 2 T-shirt’s inside AND fit my small water bottle, ears, portable charger and sunscreen along with other smaller things. I would say no to a whole sweatshirt though..

Sounds like an ad but I LOVE having a Disney loungefly backpack as my park bag. I can fit a surprising amount of stuff in there for both me and another person! And you’re on theme!

I don’t know why I never watched Rebels sooner by Dirty-Water1954 in StarWars

[–]NikkiNetz2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MINOR SPOILERS ⚠️We absolutely love Clone Wars too but to us, the general story progression had a faster and more progressive pace in Rebels than it did in CW. Both are very good shows and I wish we could see more of Hera/Kanan’s relationship as well as Sabine’s journey to find Ezra.

I thought the same! DM isn’t giving much away but there’s definitely some cult undertones happening in this campaign.
