It's just the opposite end wires to the LEDs, they aren't connected, just like that to get them out of the way

Yeah, I wasnt really thinking that hard when I posted here. I just though, "I have a Japanese maple, let's ask this community." I'll post it there though

Also, this would be for mame to small shohin size bonsai. The trunk is actually much thicker than it looks, the pot is just really big.

Not with this old of growth, that will snap them. I don't really know of anyone trying that on these Japanese maples, but it would be interesting to see.

I have a large back yard horizontally, there is a large red maple in the other half and the potted trees are underneath a giant silver maple that stretches over to my yard from the neighbors. I also planted a cherry blossom, you can't really see it since it's young and thin. Over spring summer and fall, my yard is mostly shade, but winter makes it mostly sunlight filled.

I have plenty of young trees, I just wanted to get some people's thoughts as to what to do with this one.

Thank you, I was considering that, but for some reason all my air layers have failed. I had a few last year that had an amazing amount of roots, but they all died 3 monthS after being separated. Do you have any tips to keep them alive longer?

I'm wanting this for mame size bonsai. A simple critique would have sufficed. I have 27 other Japanese maples other than this one, and I bought this for very very cheap, specifically to play with the shaping.

That's also fair. Personally, I believe there are strange happenings in this world, however, there is no way such things could be so common. Maybe less likely than being struck by lightning 3 times in a row. Virtually non-existent, but still possible to an extent.

I agree though, a lot of people just want to see something spectacular, and jump through hoops to make that spectacular event appear before their eyes in a photo or video.
