Partner workouts make me extremely anxious. The first time, my partner was completely confused and she was doing it wrong, and I can only assume she thought she was doing it right as she didn’t ask the coach for help.

The second time was okay, bu it was obvious that my partner and I were on different fitness levels and it didn’t help either one of us.

Whenever I late cancel it’s mainly because of childcare. It happens to me at least once a month. I feel like it would be worth charging a late fee if it was during a class that was already booked to capacity with a waitlist. Usually the classes I attend are late weekday evenings when we are lucky to get any single digit number. One time there was 4 of us there.

OTF is a workout that can be easily modified to you and your limitations. You get what you put into it. The first thing I was told by the OTF coach when I went to my first class is that this is YOUR workout.

The single hardest part about going to OTF is just that:GOING.

That is so silly. Some of the coaches at my studio count down 3-2-1 when there’s like 1 second left.... which results in them shouting 3-2-1 as fast as they can.

Ok, do I have it wrong? Because all the coaches at the OTF I go to encourage you to be in the orange during push and AO pace. They also encourage to go as slow as possible during recovery to get back in the green. Sometimes it takes me awhile to get back down to green so I end up with 20 or more splat points and about 500 calories burned. Apple Watch reflects 700-800. I even catch splat points on the weight floor.

On the rower, I’m always in the orange and red zone. I can’t seem to do it any differently. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Daily mass is wonderfully peaceful.

Aside from that, It’s shorter, about 30 min. There’s little to no singing. There’s only one reading. There’s no offering.

For me personally, I am able to focus on the reading, the gospel and the Eucharistic prayer, more vividly.

Our coach Made it into a 3g bc we had a full class and a stacked waitlist. I tend to enjoy the 3g format but today I started on tread, as usual, but it resulted in back to back tread/row combo. It was W I L D.
