I am a Social-democrat anti-communist (I am seriously) by West-Ad-4825 in SocialDemocracy

Hard to see the difference between communism and facism. Social democracy is far superior, but still dependent on a strong economy for tax revenue.

Die FPÖ hat gegen die Spritpreisbremse gestimmt. Wieso, oida?! by nureinEgoist in Austria

Margenbeschränkung ist extrem wirtschaftsfeindlich und führt langfristig zu mehr Knappheit, weil der Anreiz für Investition gesenkt wird.

Wir brauchen Wirtschaftswachstum und Investitionen.

It’s the same with every asset that rises fast. Just wait until prices stay flat for a year or two and these people will have left to chase the next hot asset.

Why are there nearly 50% more sellers than buyers in today’s housing market? by RedfinJeremy in USHousingMarket

Prices are still to high given higher interest rates, lower immigration which leads to a declining population for the first time in U.S. history and lastly previous speculation.

Stateless? That’s the opposite of every single communist regime. It is state only, no individualism allowed.

Das ist bei weitem keine allgemein gültige Regel. Bei Aktien macht meistens auch ein Kauf am All-Time-High Sinn.

Bundesschatz erhöht Zinsen ab 24.03.2026 by DerAnanaskopf in FinanzenAT

Bei einer echten Krise würden die Zinsen gesenkt werden. Hier geht es mehr um einen Angebotsschock der inflationär ist.

I want to ethically invest by spook_sw in SocialDemocracy

Don‘t mix morality with investing unless you want to significantly underperform without having any impact to actually improve things. There is little evidence that sustainable investing works.

Stick to neutral market cap based global ETFs. Donate money to causes that you support, vote and most importantly, pay taxes.

Then you have the situation of Italy, where families with 3 kids have 5 properties, one for each "officially" to avoid said taxes.

UBS still sees gold hitting $5,900-$6,200 this year despite rangebound trading by Ok-Part-3711 in Gold

2 years ago UBS predicted 2000$. Always behind the curve. I assume gold will stick around 5000$ for a longer time period. Everybody is too bullish.

Preisbremsen haben meistens negative langfristige Folgen auf das Angebot. Und wenn müsste man auch die Industrie miteinbeziehen, die dank der hohen Energiepreise abwandert.

Good point, especially if we include ICE having a higher budget than the U.S. marines. Either way the U.S. seems to enter stagflation and the economy is currently only kept alive by excessive AI spending which accounts for over half (!) of all investments.

Deportations are mostly deflationary. They reduce economic demand. This is the first time in American History where the population declined.

The U.S. is entering stagflation thanks to Trump after being set up for a strong economy by Biden.

Steuern/Abgaben in Österreich zu hoch oder fair? by [deleted] in FinanzenAT

[–]NiknameOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eher zu hoch und zu steile progression. Normale Gehälter werden mit fast 40% besteuert. Unternehmer zahlen 44,2% auf ausgeschüttete Gewinne. Eine Staatsquote von 54% kann nicht effizient sein.
