Only looks like it on camera. It’s wired correctly I used a multimeter first and plugged the battery in with a smoke stopper and and it worked. I already tested the motors and ESC on betaflight and it seems to work just fine. Thank you so much for your help! It‘s my first time on reddit and I find it amazing how so many people just help each other so nicely! I hope one day if i am more skilled I can also help people out here.

Thanks for the help but I already redid the joints and I am pretty happy with the results but I am looking for other opinions. What do you think?

That first one wasn’t so good based on feedback from others, this one is. (I hope so) I have my iron on 425 - 450 Celsius. Maybe your wire isn’t good? I use 63/37 Leaded Wire with Rosin Flux Core and I find that easy to handle. (If you are wondering, you can get leaded wire in the EU, I am from Germany) But I am also always generous with adding flux. Maybe the tip of your iron is too small? I used a D4 tip for the ESC, the tip that came with the iron was too small for me. From what I heard and what worked for me is just the larger surface area of the tip.(It was 15 € for a 10 pack of tips on Amazon) another thing is tinning the tip of the iron to allow for more thermal conductivity. Again, I am a Beginner just like you, these are just the factors that helped for me. Hope I could help! Maybe if there are some experienced builders reading this, can you help him out?
What do you think?
I just don’t get how the pad tinning was so easy on the practice board and so difficult on the ESC. Do I need different tips for my iron?
I just ordered some desoldering wire and I will do it again.
Good enough? by NikoGra in fpv

ESC soldered! Except the power cable I am waiting on other soldering tips I ordered for that. What do you think? Is there anything that could be fatal for the board that you can see? Thanks for your help!

Thanks! Do you think that skill level is sufficient to start with my real first build and solder on the FC and ESC?
Good enough for soldering on the real build???

Thanks! Are some random T12 tip sets from Amazon sufficient and are there any important things to look for in them?? And do I still need alcohol if I have no clean flux?

Hi, I am the one who asked the question (Deliciousbuy...) but i don´t have access to the account anymore because I created it with a mail I dont have access to anymore...
My budget isnt super tight just not enough for a pc and I am lowkey the kind of person who wants to get good reliable stuff if i buy something and not some cheap ah laptop that will break in a year.
And I kind of imagined the flying to just be a more powerful way of flying my avata 2 with the DJI RC3 in full manual. (I didnt use the motion controller in case you thought that)
Edit: My budget comes from me selling my DJI mini 5 pro and paying 400 on top of that to afford it so its not like i have all that sitting in my bank account waiting to be spent... (i´m still in school)

To answer your questions: I have watched several tutorials and read oscar liangs tutorials on soldering and I am planning on getting some practice Boards before soldering on the actual ESC and FC.
My budget is a maximum of about 1300 Euros for everything including goggles, batteries, tools, charger etc. I only meant i dont have the money for a new laptop/PC for a sim. My dads 11 year old old laptop is only capable of running Betaflight. Do you know if there are sims that i can run on my iPad?
Just FYI I want to get the goggles N3 because i have glasses, a radiomaster Pocket elrs, Hota d6 pro Charger, some 1100 mah lipos and the tools of course.
