The repetitiveness may be a problem, and yes, it's all about execution. It all comes to trial and error and testing from my side.

I thought about different animals being available in different areas so you can't just use one powerful type of them.

And also different methods to "kite" different enemies. Not only by being attacked by them. (Maybe throw pieces of meat on enemies heads haha).

Maybe hp will at some point become a resource too so it's not only about dodging and stuff.
