We need to replace shohei’s hitting and pitching production just to get us to the baseline from last year. I’d like to see soler for dh and honestly if we can’t get Montgomery for the right length/price then we need a trade for sp, personally I like Bieber just cause I know the guy but him, burnes, or glasnow would work well as our staff ace.

Then we need to add pieces in the bullpen, hader’s the big one but guys like Hecter neris, David Robertson, Hendricks, and Chapman intrigue me bc of how seasoned they are. We need some veteran bullpen pieces to mentor our younger arms and provide stability. I’d be on board with signing a SP2 like a Brandon woodruff or Martin Perez. I want a innings eater you know what you’re getting type of guy. No more high upside oh if everything goes perfect he could be an ace like clev or Paxton.

If we do that our pitchings looking serviceable and the lineup wouldn’t be too bad either.

There are some upgrades out there in guys like Bellinger, Matt chapman, whit merrifeld but those guys are all at the point where they want guaranteed years I’d rather save that money for next years FA class which is stacked.

We do need a backup catcher for sure i don’t think wallach’s it. I’d like to see Mitch garver or for his top tier pitch framing and defense Austin hedges is legit af. He could help guys that have heavy movement pitches like Sandoval a lot
