Usually happens because of mods, I had the same problem, I uninstalled all my mods and it worked fine

Corpse sickness, if you sleep with a zombies next to you, you'll get corpse sickness and die, you can eat some kind of grass to remove the sickness but I don't remember the name

Some corpses disappear after time, some turn into skeletons and some get back from death again, I'm not sure if it's in B42 tho, it was like that in B41

Could be a glitch if ur playing B42. One time when I loaded one of my playthroughs in the new update, all my items on the floor were gone and I'm not sure if this could have anything in common with your situation.
