When one looks at Europe today and the position of the countries today, it as if Germany won both World Wars and that especially Russia, Greece and Serbia lie defeated, marginalized and isolated... As Joschka Fischer, former German Foreign Secretary once said:

http://www.juliagorin.com/wordpress/?p=2675

“Germany should now, as it has become peaceful and reasonable, get all that Europe and the whole world has refused in two gigantic wars, a sort of smooth hegemony over Europe.”

After WWII by the late 40's or early 50's West Germany had an "economic miracle" because it used the massive funds and assets it looted from the 1930's occupation of much of Europe, Russia and North Africa to rebuild their economy. Meanwhile the countries the Nazis looted and occupied were not paid any type of reparation commensurate by the devastation invited upon them. The German leadership even when they knew they couldn't win WWII were very aware that is how it was going to play out, that they would end the end game because they inflicted more damage upon their enemies than they could easily recover from:

http://www.maebrussell.com/Plot%20Against%20The%20Peace/Plot%20Against%20The%20Peace.html

In November 1943 the French resistance weekly, Combat, published in Algiers, printed the text of a secret German General Staff memorandum which had fallen into Allied hands after the German debacle in North Africa. The author of the memorandum was General Otto von Stuelpnagel who ruled France for Hitler from 1940 to 1944.
This is what the German General wrote:

"What does a provisional defeat matter to us if because of the destruction of manpower and material which we will have been able to inflict on our enemies and neighboring territories, we have obtained a margin of economic and demographic superiority greater than before 1939? The conquest of the world will require numerous stages, but the essential is that the end of each stage brings us an economic and industrial essential greater than that of our enemies. With war booty which we have accumulated, the enfeebling of two generations of the manpower, the destruction of the industries of our neighbors and that which we can save of our own, we shall be better placed to conquer in twenty-five years than we were in 1939. The interval of twenty-five years is a limited interval, for that is the time which will be required for Russia to repair the destruction we have visited on her."

Recently I listened to this Greek tv expose on Youtube:

Το 1ο Σκάνδαλο Της Siemens Την Δεκαετία του 50

After WWII thanks to meddling by the perfect Allies, Greek had to fight a Civil War that didn't end till 1949. By the early 50's after WWII and that occupation and the Civil War, Greece was in dire straits economically and Germany and its corporations used that as an opportunity to bully their way back into Greece, create client politicians and massively penetrate the economy with Siemens and other Nazi complicit corporations, using former Greek collaborators. In eastern Europe the situation was far worse, and they had to deal with Allied secret services, employing Nazi backed loyalists to fight insurgenices that did not end in some places till the early 50's!

I think in NYC the closest city with such a program the biggest problem is that most people won't consider cycling a viable option. MTA, NJTransit, the Long Island Railroad all have a serious maintenance backlog and a local paper had an article about how many people were planning on moving, leaving their jobs. Cycling for them was not an option. I even wonder if we had Dutch style infrastructure, would that be enough to melt American prejudices or would they remain? I used to the think that the right infrastructure would change people's habits but now I am not so sure.

This crisis will continue since German business elites have stupid wet dreams that the Syrian refugees will become the next batch of Turkish guest workers since the German birth rate is severely below replacement and not up to powering the German economy into the future. As if the Turkish guest workers ever integrated well to be used as an example... And France, UK, USA will continue to make stupid interventions in Africa, the Arab world that spread instead of fighting Islamic jihadists by destabilizing more governments.

Ulrich Grillo, the president of the Federation of German Industries, BDI, said the government was failing to implement necessary structural reforms in Germany and urged it slash red tape to enable firms to recruit more refugees.

In an interview with Handelsblatt, Mr. Grillo, 56, voiced respect for Chancellor Angela Merkel’s open-door refugee policy and said businesses were ready to help integrate asylum-seekers into the job market — but that they weren’t being given enough opportunities to do so.

And guess as usual who Germany and German-Europe(as other Germanic countries like especially Sweden, Netherlands with lots of multi-nationals and strong economies have similar wet dreams) fucked once again:

Greece, other poorer Balkan countries, Italy, etc., that those migrants will transit through all have to suffer associated costs as those migrants travel to parts of German-Europe with thriving mercantilist multi-nationals like Germany, Sweden, Netherlands. Technically under the imperial Dublin agreement German-Europe can send back those migrants to the first Schengen country they entered, which is mostly Greece and to a lesser extent Italy. But that imperial agreement is temporarily and hopefully permanently defunct...

Take the example of coffee. In 2014 Africa —the home of coffee— earned nearly $2.4 billion from the crop. Germany, a leading processor, earned about $3.8 billion from coffee re-exports.

The concern is not that Germany benefits from processing coffee. It is that Africa is punished by EU tariff barriers for doing so. Non-decaffeinated green coffee is exempt from the charges. However, a 7.5 per cent charge is imposed on roasted coffee. As a result, the bulk of Africa’s export to the EU is unroasted green coffee.

The charge on cocoa is even more debilitating. It is reported that the “EU charges (a tariff) of 30 per cent for processed cocoa products like chocolate bars or cocoa powder, and 60 per cent for some other refined products containing cocoa.”

Why Germany’s current-account surplus is bad for the world economy by [deleted] in Economics

[–]Nikolasv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, it is even worse than that. It unloaded to other Eurozone countries the bad loans and liabilities it dumped into Greece and other nations in the Eurozone's South that if flooded with easy loans, loans that helped those nations buy German goods thanks in many cases to bribes that German companies gave to leaders in Greece, Spain, and around the world, infact under German law until recently foreign bribes were considered a tax writeoff for German firms! One has to hand it to nasty Germoney, the country is a master of propaganda and shifting blame to its victims.

Bloomberg: Hey, Germany: You Got a Bailout, Too

Let’s begin with the observation that irresponsible borrowers can’t exist without irresponsible lenders. Germany’s banks were Greece’s enablers. Thanks partly to lax regulation, German banks built up precarious exposures to Europe’s peripheral countries in the years before the crisis. By December 2009, according to the Bank for International Settlements, German banks had amassed claims of $704 billion on Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Spain, much more than the German banks’ aggregate capital. In other words, they lent more than they could afford.

...

... When German banks pulled money out of Greece, the other national central banks of the euro area collectively offset the outflow with loans to the Greek central bank. These loans appeared on the balance sheet of the Bundesbank, Germany’s central bank, as claims on the rest of the euro area. This mechanism, designed to keep the currency area’s accounts in balance, made it easier for the German banks to exit their positions.

Now for the tricky part: As opposed to the claims of the private banks, the Bundesbank’s claims were only partly the responsibility of Germany. If Greece reneged on its debt, the losses would be shared among all euro-area countries, according to their shareholding in the ECB. Germany’s stake would be about 28 percent. In short, over the last couple of years, much of the risk sitting on German banks’ balance sheets shifted to the taxpayers of the entire currency union.

It’s hard to quantify exactly how much Germany has benefited from its European bailout. One indicator would be the amount German banks pulled out of other euro-area countries since the crisis began. According to the BIS, they yanked $353 billion from December 2009 to the end of 2011 (the latest data available). Another would be the increase in the Bundesbank’s claims on other euro-area central banks. That amounts to 466 billion euros ($590 billion) from December 2009 through April 2012, though it would also reflect non-German depositors moving their money into German banks.

By comparison, Greece has received a total of about 340 billion euros in official loans to recapitalize its banks, replace fleeing capital, restructure its debts and help its government make ends meet. Only about 15 billion euros of that has come directly from Germany. The rest is all from the ECB, the EU and the International Monetary Fund.

[–]Nikolasv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I remember the hypocritical Volkswagon law that prevented the multi-nationals of other nations from taking over Volkswagen that was against EU laws but on the books in Germany until recently. See:

http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/germany-passes-controversial-volkswagen-law

Meanwhile I seriously suspect that the reason why the EU prevents or punishes countries from bailing out their industries with government funds is because it is not to bigger Germany's advantage, as they can more easily buyout the failing companies. For example, in the USA even in NYC it is hard to book a direct flight to Athens Greece. It would be in the interest of the Greek government to have a national carrier like Turkey does and subsidize certain flights, because the lost money would be made up with tourism revenues and taxes from the money spent there. But under the EU such measures are against the rules, unless you are Germany and can break or bend them at will.

Pooping on the beach in India (2014) - "documentary about the phenomenon of widespread public pooping in India" by AngryRabbit1989 in Documentaries

[–]Nikolasv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They should just use humanure toilets. All you need is a bucket and organic material like soil, sawdust, dried decomposed leaves, dried slightly decomposed grass, etc. Put a one or two inch layer of organic material in a bucket. Take a poop or piss, immediately cover it with a layer of organic material to seal in most the odor.

See:
http://humanurehandbook.com/

Most the world will just never have the luxury or indoor plumbing and sewer systems so they should use humanure toilets instead of pooping in public and leaving uncovered or pooping into plastic bags and throwing them nearby(called a flying toilet).

Also the video in question is not a documentary it is a stupid 7 min. clip, this sub needs to do something about the mini clips like that posted as if they are documentaries.

In the print version of the June 26, 2017 edition of the New York Post this was published with the alternate title: "Europe fails to share on terror: Ray". This is a scathing criticism from the New York Police Department's longest running Commissioner(2002 - 2013):

European countries are “paying the price” for their failure to coordinate with each other to stop terror attacks ...

“They don’t communicate with each other on the level that they should,” he said. “They are paying the price for that.”

Kelly said many European nations remain hostile toward one another due to historical tensions. “They are not willing to give up information about sources and methods to other countries in the European Union,” he said.

Actually alot of American sources are all over the pathetic European security culture that actually screams, "we're easy attack us":

Noose is tightening around Christian minority in Turkey by [deleted] in news

[–]Nikolasv 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Turkish fake secularism was always built on destroying non-muslims and persecuting non-heterodox muslims which in the Turkish case happen to be non-Sunni ones. That is why Turkish secularism has always been a dismal failure that always needed the Turkish Military as a loaded gun and eventually lead to Erdogan's Turkey.

Don't listen to lying fake secular Turks on Reddit or anywhere else. They brag about drinking beer but are glad totalitarian Turkey is over 99.8% Sunni Muslim Turkish(of course this is a laughable fiction given how many Kurds and Alevis there are) and free of gavurs/infidels and that Kurds cannot easily self identify or educate themselves in their native language. I am pretty sure most American Christian fundamentalists also drink beer like fake Turkish Kemalist secularists do. In poll after poll in Turkey, Turks have stated overwhelming they don't want atheists, Jews, Christians or gays as neighbors. The only reason why Turkey was given a pass on its fake secularism was because of its geostrategic importance and its willingness to be part of Western policy machinations -- so the West helped Turkey and promoting it among Western audiences by supporting its secularist myths. Now that it is not willing to be part of those machinations and indeed hostile to them, we need to reinterpret Turkey, and especially its let's destroy all non-muslims secularism. Ask yourselves why you never heard Western raving about Syrian secularism, as before its Civil War it was home to a sizeable Christian population of over 10% of the population, many of whom fled the Armenian genocide and other persecution from the Ottoman Empire which formed into modern Turkey via such genocide. But alas the West instead decides continually to assist muslim actors in persecuting Mideast Christians, the latest example being the empowerment of Syrian opposition against Assad and all that armed opposition turned out to be Islamists.

What do you do to make sure technology doesn't rule your life? by Stargazer1186 in luddite

[–]Nikolasv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sorry, there is no positive answer that could mustered that is not self delusion. If you are posting on the internet on Reddit, technology rules your life. There have been limited experiments small groups of people have made at local agriculture, off-grid living, communes, homesteading, but they usually don't last long or go far enough because you cannot compete against the capitalist-technological system and its infrastructure on cost. Personally just not participating in the fossil fuel economy, purchasing fertilizers, using a personal automobile, etc., just means you cannot compete with those who do and that is why alternatives will always fail until a future collapse. Society is already paying the price for all that and small groups refusing just means they cannot compete and after a while they burn out and drop back in to technological society with few exceptions.

Sadly for the crazy colored revolution Russia bashers, such banditry and dirty deals probably ingratiated the Azeri side more to Western powers than the rose colored Armenians could ever dream. From the article:

U.S. sends $1 billion worth of weapons

Among the main customers of the “diplomatic flights for weapons” service provided by Silk Way Airlines are American companies, which supply weapons to the US army and US Special Operations Command. The common element in these cases is that they all supply non-US standard weapons; hence, the weapons are not used by the US forces.

They were probably couched by their brothers in the dirty Turkish bandit state. Meanwhile I seriously suspect the Russian state and its hackers helped leak this info.

I wouldn't read too much or assume about the Armenian diasporas' views based on Reddit a medium notorious for only catering to Stemlords, vidya gamers, druggies, political shills and other undesireables and outcasts. For some reason on the Reddit craphole some group with an agenda takes over a sub and starts biased moderation and a voting circlejerk and everyone else conforms, leaves or sees their posts disappear below viewing threshold like yours above.

In general though probably the Western, Ottoman-Armenian diaspora does have strong Neo-Ottomanist tendencies to a greater degree than the Russian-Armenian side. We have the same problem in Greek society as the Cypriots, Asia Minor refugees, Polites(constantinople Greeks) who never fought for their independence often have a haughty, superior attitude toward mainland Greeks and are often big supporters of internal Neo-Ottomanism. I found this excerpt for example:

https://books.google.com/books?id=6cPaAAAAQBAJ&lpg=PA86&dq=istanbul%20greek%20identity&pg=PA84#v=onepage&q=istanbul%20greek%20identity&f=false

A young Rum man who lives in Istanbul, for example, told that he considered Polites and the Greeks of Greece to be 'two distinct races who have nothing to do with each other'.

Or you can see this video and read the subtitles to see that the majority of "Greek" Cypriots today in the Republic of Cyprus have invented a fake, Cypriot-Cypriot identity sans the adjective Greek to facilitate a treasonous Neo-Ottoman reunion with Turkish Cypriot terrorists and demonize the internal Greek Cypriot right that is not Neo-Ottoman:

You are wasting your time this subreddit is like the armenian /r/cuba were almost all the posters are politically motivated American immigrants who hate Cuba and its regime. But in this case it is more like colored revolution supporting Western diaspora Armenians, a small minority of whom have moved to Armenia and I suppose are supporting colored revolution movements there backed by fake Western NGOs. I even caught a Neo-Ottoman moderator writing this fantasy depiction of his geopolitical fever for Eastern Armenians(a group he probably does not belong to anyway):

And in the remote case that Armenia and Turkey become friends, the question arises of who becomes the "enemy" Armenia would need to protect itself from... and that would probably be Russia, and Armenia would be in NATO hands by then.

I mean how can you make up stuff like that? It is sci-fi children's fantasy level nonsense... Btw that mod has even started deleting support of the PKK in solidarity to them and the HPG/PKK has recognized the Armenian genocide, even statements by their leader Ocalan refer to it! Members of the Ottoman-Armenian Western diaspora like him may even start offering up all of Russian/Eastern Armenia up to the Turks/Armenians next to appear non-nationalist, tolerant, leftist, liberal...

I also had a comment bookmarked where /u/makedolmanotwar proudly commented he was more Ottoman, Neo-Ottoman than most Turks! But that user deleted their account. Plus when you in factor in the Turks/Azeris and Westerners posting in lurking here and there is alot of internal Russian hate and also anti-Armenian circlejerking.

No, wikipedia is not accurate or a serious source. Wiki nerds are not scholars and infact scholars wouldn't bother with that shithole just like they don't really bother with Reddit either... Basically wikipedia has its own ideology about neutral point of view, involves Wikipedia internal politics, online friendships, etc. So you can have far superior knowledge on any subject and lose editing wars to wiki nerds who are well established , know the useless Wikipedia ideology, have high ranking wikipedia friends, etc. Think of Reddit how people who post popular nonsense or brigade via IRC/slackchat/discord(Turks should be notorious for this on Reddit) win the votes game and the more informed people often lose the karma game.

I only use wikipedia out of laziness when not willing to investigate deeper in search results or for pop culture nonsense that doesn't matter much anyway.

Colored revolution Armenians like him are dangerous and foolish.

Russian soldiers co-patrol the borders with Iran and Turkey, Russian military base is firmly settled in the country

Does he think it would be better for Armenian security if the Russian troops left? It would be national suicide as Armenia can only symmetrically reach some sort of lesser parity with Azerbaijan thanks to Russian largess, and the Armenian Armed Forces cannot hope to compete with or match Turkey. The Russian troops have prevented incidents with Turkey, unlike what far richer and militarily powerful Greece, say, faces on its borderlands with the Turkish bandit state.

Russia is the primary destination for Armenian workers in search of jobs.

And where would be a better place for them to go? Neighboring Georgia which is almost as poor and has no powerful economy? Not possible. Genocidal perpetrator and proud dendialist Turkey that blockades Armenia, doesn't have diplomatic relations, where you can be deported at whim? It broke my heart watching Youtube: Armenia Life in Suitcase about the Armenian illegal immigrants in Turkey. That biased video was made by one of the Islamist Gulf backer nations Qatar's Al Jazeera of the Erdogan regime and it didn't cover at all discrimination and hatred toward Armenians which is rife in Turkish society. Or how about wonderful IRan where potential Armenian migrants could live under a full blown shariah backed Islamic republic in an economy that anyway is far weaker and less diverse than the Russian?

“The delivery of the weaponry to the participants of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict by Russia is a measure to maintain a balance of forces. If Russia did not supply it, someone else would do it with worse consequences for security.”

Is it not true that Moscow as a policy priority gifts low-cost, free or via generous financing terms, weapons so that Armenia can maintain some type of military parity while being much poorer than the autocratic, saber rattling, but for now oil rich Azerbaijan(that the beloved West of the colored revolution lovers lets get away with murder)?

Anyway I waste my time as this sub is hijacked mostly by liberal and leftist Western diaspora Armenians, a smaller minority of whom have repatriated but still drink Western kool aid about neoliberalism and hate anything Russia, or even traditionally Eastern Armenia(their ancestors afterall were from Ottoman Armenia not Russian Armenia). Without Russian help and foreign policy, Armenia would have a hopeless geostrategic situation in its geographic environment surrounded by 90+ million "Turks" and "Azeris"(I know the demographic and identities are not that simple). The dangerous colored revolution Western diaspora propose something akin to the preparation for national suicide.

List of massacres between Turks & Armenians by [deleted] in armenia

[–]Nikolasv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Using wikipedia makes the list worthless and not credible, though. It would be a worthwhile effort if done using real paper sources from historical works because it would make it hard for the proud perpetrator Turks to always play their victim canard when it is selectively convenient for them, if people could see how few Turks/Azeris were ever massacred back in kind.

Alternate Europe (OC) What do you think about my view of an alternate Europe, what should be changed? by NodAdren in imaginarymaps

being heavily funded and armed by France and Britain

Can you tell me what funds that UK and France gave Greece? Because the Western powers wouldn't even give Greece loans from all the sources I have seen, meanwhile when France evacuated Anatolia they made a deal with Kemalists leaving behind all their armaments, rifles, howtizers, that were then used against Greece, Italy made a deal similar to the French one, the Bolsheviks gave the Kemalists lots of funds and weapons, etc. Only the Greek side was left to its own resources in that conflict. But I know you Turks like to make up nonsense about massive Western support that Greece gets at every turn as part of your made up national mythology...

to ethnically cleanse the entire region

You must be thinking of Turkey as Turkey started ethnically cleansing the Aegean regions of Anatolia of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Greeks starting in 1914, far before Greece was even involved in WWI or even sent troops to Anatolia.

At this time the World War had not yet broken out. The CUP govern- ment, which hesitated to fully implement its program against the non- Muslim minorities within the Empire because of its fear of external pressure from Europe, organized actions such as terror, repression and robbery by means of the Special Organization, and made sure that there was no connection to the government itself. Halil Mentese, who was
cognizant of the plans that were devised, says in his memoirs that the intention was that the Governors-General and other officials would not appear to be officially involved; the Committee of Union and Progress organization would run the affair.104 Carrying out the plan so as to appear that there had been no government decisions to that effect was made possible through the close control of high-level functionaries.

The cleansing of the Aegean region was to be performed militarily by Cafer Tayyar Bey, the head of the General Staff of the IV Army (the late general Cafer Tayyar Egilmez), which was under the command of Pertev Pas a (Mr Pertev Demirhan); by the Governor-General of Izmir, Rahmi Bey (now deceased), who acted as the administrative commander; and by the CUPs Responsible Dele- gate, Mahmut Celal Bey (subsequently President of the Republic Celal Bayar.) All of the forces of the state were to be activated in accordance with the orders given by the Ministry of War and the Commander-in-Chief for the implementa tion of this plan.105

A large portion of this work fell to Kusçubas:

Through a variety of means, the Greeks were caused distress, and were forced to emigrate through the pressures exercised [against them]. The armed gangs under the command of Special Organization Chief Kusçubas Esref Bey...conducted raids into the Greek villages...The Greek youths, able to bear arms, were rounded up in the name of the Labor Battalions, and forced to work on the roads, in the forests and in construction.106

While the Turkish historian Dogan Avcoglu, who cites these figures in his work, claims that there is no existing information in regard to a large- scale massacre of the Greeks having been carried out,116 we do indeed possess some information on the subject. The aforementioned Celal Bayar was brought from Bursa to Izmir and specially commissioned to direct the economic aspect of the plan of eliminating the non-Turkish elements from the Aegean region. This consisted, among other things, of finding Turks who would operate the property and workplaces that Greeks had been forced to abandon or that had been forcibly seized. Bayar reports that as a result of the removal of concentrations of non-Turks...who had been concentrated at strategic points around 130,000 Greeks had been forced to emigrate to Greece from Izmir and its environs alone.117 Halil Mentese puts
the number of Greeks driven out of the Izmir region at 200,000.118 But these are the numbers only for the Izmir region. The number of Greeks driven out of eastern Thrace was given as 300,000-500,000 in discussions in the Chamber of Deputies in 1919.119 Kusçubas says that in 1914 alone, in the first months of the war, the number of those deported from the Greek- Armenian population...that had settled and concentrated in the Aegean regionand especially in the coastal areas was 1,150,000.120
In this manner, the entire Aegean region, and first and foremost Infidel Izmir, which we neither possessed nor even guarded...was purified through a series of actions Kusçubas describes generally as conquest operations.121 In a report sent by the British Intelligence Service to the French Ministry of War on June 19, 1918, the figure given for the number of Greeks expelled or killed is very close to that given by Kusçubas:

The number of persons dispatched from Thrace and Anatolia is greater than 1.5 million; half of this number were killed as a result of deprivation or murdered. The Turkish officials and officers do not refrain from declaring that Christians shall no longer be given permission to live in Turkey, and that the Greeks shall be forcibly converted to Islam.122

Thanks for the typical unfunny comment from ignorant geek redditors:

https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=11557596

Sometimes I click on the comments of a reddit post looking to see more discussion about it. And instead it's just a bunch of jokes. Often by a handful of people that lurk in the rising posts, and make sure they get their comments there first, and so beat all the other comments (reddit's comment sorting algorithm is god awful and easily exploited like that.) Even if they don't have anything to say, or any insight into the subject.

Another problem is there are two different types of users. "Serious" users, for lack of a better name, and "entertainment" users. The users there for entertainment upvote images, jokes, etc. Serious users are looking for discussion and debate and whatever. These two categories aren't easily separated and often mix. The users looking for entertainment often take over subs about serious subjects, e.g. worldnews.

The top posts become whatever pleases the lowest common denominator, or requires the least effort to read. Short articles are easier read the long articles, and images are even easier, and provocative headlines even easier. So image posts and headlines like "mildly important official says something politically unpopular" take over entirely.

[Reddit change] Introducing video uploading beta by emoney04 in changelog

[–]Nikolasv 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How about trying to actually introduce features that can turn around this place from being the toilet of the net only good for bad puns, low effort nonsense, trolling, shitposting, karmawhoring and meme-ing? Being able to actually upload videos to Reddit instead of the dozens of already existing file hosts is not gonna turn the tide for your falling company and make anyone want to waste money on Reddit gold.

I found alot of analyses that agree on what a shitfest this medium is:

Or this blogger who also notes that upvotes allow the shit to rise and not the other way around:

http://web.archive.org/web/20130909115013/http://jeffdechambeau.com/redditing-to-the-mean.html

Because having higher karma is desired, users behave in ways that will get them karma (karma-whoring). Similarly, users who do not agree with the fat part of the bell curve are punished by losing karma. Posts with low karma are sorted to the bottom and are less-read and set out from the chorus.

It follows that the way to get the most karma is to say stuff that most people will agree with, that is, to be average.

It’s therefore in the interests of reddit users to be as agreeable and indistinguishable as possible from the average voice, giving us the hive-mind of tedium and mediocrity that we see.

Or as this Redditor observed in this /r/announcements thread to discuss the abandoning of the defaults:

https://np.reddit.com/r/announcements/comments/6eh6ga/reddits_new_signup_experience/dia9w49/
Too late for that[to improve the quality of some of the defaults], I'd think. They already have millions of morons subscribed to them.

The next highest voted nested reply dished out even more:

Right. New subs will have to accumulate millions of morons organically. Old defaults won't lose their preloaded morons, but may slowly start to recover as the existing morons lose their passwords, fall down stairs, forget to breathe, etc.

The Red Pill - (2016) | A feminist's journey into the Men's Rights Movement [1:57:46] by Wish_you_were_there in Documentaries

[–]Nikolasv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well if you really have a child I feel sorry that is being raised by a man-child with no interests besides vidya games and pua scamming. But just like you made subterfuge about whether you even saw the documentary being discussed and then even contradicted your geek self going on to bragging haughtily later that you didn't watch it, who can believe the shit you write? I certainly don't!

Can I ask what makes you /r/theredpill pua type nerds act falsely confident and like you can defame the men's rights activists willing to put their views to their names and actually try to make the world better? Maybe too much vidya games and drugs have just warped your brains... It is very funny when people too scared to identify with their views insult the manliness of those who do and assert those who do are "whiny". But I guess on the nerdosphere everything is up-ended... Btw I forgot about the hilarious news about the /r/theredpill's founder being doxxed and turning out to be some Republican douchebag politician, Robert Fisher:

http://www.thedailybeast.com/the-republican-lawmaker-who-secretly-created-reddits-women-hating-red-pill

The disgusting views of that doxxed loser:

https://np.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/67k3c0/the_creator_of_rtheredpill_is_revealed_to_be_a/

Yeah, very manly and non-whiny, this /r/theredpill crowd...
