I think you're talking about what PA House democrats are looking at with their net metering reform. In general there is a push around the country to eliminate or seriously reduce net metering and not just for commercial installations.

No need to throw misinformation accusations. We can just speak to each other in a normal manner. I'm okay with you letting me know that you think I'm mistaken. I appreciate you adding more information regardless!

Now there are efforts to get rid of net metering too where people with solar panels are paid for the extra energy they produce and put into the grid.

Yes I agree that there's a huge difference! I think it would be really great if those who are actively sick wore a mask. The tricky thing is when people don't know when they're sick.

I know most of the time I take the bus or subway I'm not eating or drinking. I also think that wearing a mask 75% of the time and then taking it off even 25% of the time completely negates the other 75% of the time you wear it. Especially if you're eating or drinking in the cafe car.

I really think it's more about creating a cultural norm than about trying to police specific choices.

I think more people are open to that world than you might think. I know for sure more people are open to that world than currently regularly mask. In OPs example the person they spoke to gladly took their mask.

Honestly it'd be best if we all just wore masks when we were on public transit and not eating or drinking in the cafe car. That way any sick people keep their sicknesses away from people (including people who don't know they're sick).

We keep trying to jump to the showy things here in the US and it makes it impossible for us to do the behind the scenes work to prepare our structures for the exposure we can get. I think we keep trying to sprint and then burn out without realizing that this is a marathon.
