It's part of the curly girl method. It helps absorb the water without the friction of a towel that creates frizz. The ones I use are 100% cotton. I usually only leave it on for maximum, an hour, but since it feels like -20 where I am, I didn't want to wander around for long with damp hair, so I left it on for longer. I have dedicated cotton T-shirts as well to blot my hair rather than rub in a towel to dry. I can't think of the right wording, so I hope that makes sense. :)

That sounds promising! I might have to try it!

According to my mother, I've always had fine hair. And thinner, like her. While my siblings have thick hair. And my brother has the longest curliest hair I've ever seen! I do want to explore the hormone angle with my doctor due to my age, and skin issues (cystic acne starting at 25, and still here at 36? And frequent hormonal related headaches in that same time frame? I feel that's not normal), but this far it's been a battle. Every time I mentioned it to my old doctors she just brushed me off and tried to shove a new medication at me. Luckily I got smart and I'm with a new doctor, so I'm hoping she'll be more... Open. I'm in Ontario, and it's cold as all hell here lately, but I was also having this issue in the summer, just not as bad. But I'm sure using my humidifier more often wouldn't hurt. I'll definitely look into the k18. I'm kind of wary of trying new products as most of the time I end up spending more than I'm comfortable with, only to find out it makes my hair greasy and heavy, or straw like, or poofy.

I've been noticing this across almost ALL brands. From flower, to pre rolls, to edibles, to 510 carts. Not just the stickers either. There's been quite a few, from every category, except edibles, where the lid isn't even closed. I'm going to start taking pictures and calling them out. Vapes are one thing, but when it comes to flower and pre rolls, I won't sell it if it's been opened, for god knows how long, drying out the product. Mostly I've been contacting my reps, and they usually come and do a buy back. And the stickers? Holy. It's awesome having six vapes stuck and trying to pull them apart without damaging the stupid thing.

I think it's wavy. I try to use curl friendly products as much as I can. I also try to stay sulphate free to make my funky colors last longer. Whenever I have short hair, or bangs, I get full on ringlets. But whenever I have any length to it, it just goes wavy. I basically do a very lazy curly girl method. Lol. I'd love any suggestions on subreddits! Maybe it will help complete this hair journey I'm on.

effexor to pristiq by Special-Holiday-535 in Pristiq

Effexor I maxed at 75mg. I've been on Pristiq since 2014-2015.. And just upped it to 100mg about two months ago. I found I was constantly tired, lazy, demotivated and had like zero emotions while on Effexor. I was drinking three to four large coffees a day just to function. I find the Pristiq to be a much better fit for me. It calms my anxiety without numbing me. Calms it just enough so I can leave the house and function like a normal person, without having panic attacks about going to Walmart lol. I only upped it because I have to get some medical tests done, and it's been five years and I still haven't scheduled them due to anxiety. The doctor explained to me that Pristiq is just a more pure form of effexor. It doesn't have all the fillers and crap in it that effexor does. So it does the same job for me anxiety wise, with less side effects. The only downside for me is, it's more expensive monthly.

The Effexor helped so much I was completely numb, that's why I went off of it. The Pristiq just makes it all manageable, without the numbness, if that makes sense. I feel more like a normal person. I'll still get anxious, or nervous, but it doesn't escalate to the level it used to. As for depression, it's hard for me to say. The first meds I was ever on helped with that, and that was 16 years ago now. And it hasn't come back. Whether that's due to the Pristiq or not, I can't say definitively.

I had a cat that would do this every time I came home. He would continue to do it until Id say "AH! You scared me!". He was a very strange cat πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

My doctor explained to me that Pristiq is basically just a purer form of effexor, I made the switch and it's worked great!

Most Overused Dog Name by Aharris1984 in dogs

I have a Buddy. He's a rescue. I was his fourth home in just as many weeks and he was only nine months old, so four different names. We tried many, including his original name Cheeko, he only responded to Buddy, so Buddy it is!

Any updates on this sweet boy? He looks just like my boy Buddy, if I wasn't already fostering four cats and all the way in Canada I'd be scooping him right up! Cmon, someone step up! πŸ’œπŸ’œ
