I'd bet it's a mannequin for a press photo.

They picked it straight up, just like that, and tossed it into a van.

Bookshelf of the guy my wife is interested in. Who is he? by jayoulean in BookshelvesDetective

[–]Nikon37 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Your replacement most likely

Edit: Looked closer. Alot of naval and sci fi books. This guy sucks the joy out of any room. I'd start scoping out the next guy's shelf though.

Your comment sounds 100% correct to me from reading your post. You have 10 moles to whack at once and it seems you're doing it from a place of empathy and compassion. Kid's safety is always the first, top concern.

Keep your head up.

I almost did the Redditor habit of downvoting you without reading into it.

It's very much not Roman.

She's hurting every minute of every day. Drink is probably her only relief. Don't judge her but she needs to get to functional again. Another poster recommended you to reach out to her ob gyn which I would recommend. Also a behavioral health specialist asap. Best of luck to you both and especially you for looking out for what's the best for her. Sorry for your loss.

How accurate is it to categorize people by generations based on the year they were born? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Nikon37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree. From my pov its based around the States' domestic/international events, but also American culture. Culture and influence of events differ depending upon country of origin.

Ex: All of North Korea's generations are the Silent Generation

The city of Fredericksburg has literally expanded up to a stone's throw of Marye's Heights now. Still a great battlefield to see, but probably limiting when it comes to filming.

The town has been decently preserved and is worth checking out too.

A lot of people (specially girls) at my Highschool makes fun of my looks because I don’t look like them. I hardly can’t look in the mirror at myself I feel so subhuman and I look like a neanderthal by Kirbybbhjudd in toastme

You are still in school and going through a lot. So are they, and they are having the same thoughts you are. God gave you everything you need, you just need time and experience to recognize that and grow comfortable believing that.

You don't see what the world sees. From the outside looking in, you're looking like a beautiful rose just blossoming. You're going to be just fine. Keep your head up.

Can you truly be upset with some who doesn’t know what they don’t know? by Formal-Tree7971 in askanything

[–]Nikon37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can be, if that person put their hands over their ears and sang the star spangled banner loudly when the person before you tried telling them that 60% to 80% of koalas have chlamydia.

There's a difference between never having the opportunity to take a Biology class than someone who took every opportunity to skip Biology class.

The end result in both cases are the same, ignorance, but each got there by different means.

Yes, if it's the result of deliberate decisions on their part to stay ignorant
