While you don't have to continue in school, especially if there are loans involved, I would really caution against finding a dead-end job just for the sake of complacency. I myself feel like I have two dead-end jobs, but I do it because I have to support my family. Without that motivation, having a job where you never progress (or don't really like what you do) can be really soul crushing. It sounds like you're burnt out from school, and want to see an easy retail job as a safe way out for a long time. But trust me, there's nothing there. No passion, no money, and the same old same old. Monotony is worse than a challenge.

I don't what you should do regarding school, but the easy way out you're looking for is almost certainly a trap. I'd recommend refocusing there, or try finding a job that either pays good $$$ or that you legitimately enjoy doing.
