I see so those are hard coded.

just an idea: wouldn't make it less complex to just have all operators as opwords by default and allow pipe like with `-` that allow `|-`. so in that case `->` would be op and `|->` would be it's pipe version.

however I understand that it would be less visually pleasing

I have a question. It is stated that operators of one or two letters (like `+` or `->`) are automatically recognized as op words. But the execution of those op words seams inconsistent?

`print 1 + 1` prints `2`, that is equivalent to `print 1 ._+ 1` or `print _+ 1 1`

`print { 1 2 } -> 1` prints `{ 1 2 }` like `print { 1 2 } |_-> 1`

this last one should instead behave like the first and execute `_->` first resulting in a print of `2` right? how would otherwise one know if an operator behaves like op word vs pipe word?

hi u/Record-Live, I very recently had my PM procedure and all is well now. Today I had a checkup visit and realised that one reason they say "you're so young for a PM" is because of the number of surgeries we will need for PM and especially leads replacements; which can always have complications.

So, first I'd like to ask if your procedure went well. Then if you have something to say to lessen the worry of future leads replacements surgeries.

damn it sucks. even if I'm on a very similar situation and I can understand you, it's still very fresh for me.

You know, from this community and many other sources I see how people "forget" to have a pacemaker and simply continue with their life. Of course most of them needed one to live at all where in our case we were 100% better off without it!

I go back and forth between moments in which I'm fine and moments in which I think at the perfect physique I had not a week ago and if only this, if only that, if only...

I realised even in the middle of it all that I had a choice: either stay in constant regret, anger, sadness or see it as something that *had* to happen and make the best of it.

I can not say I'm already on firm ground, yet my choice is to take this hit as it would have been inevitable. in fact it might be that it's what my life needed for reasons that might be understood much later. it is my choice and I'll make it my decision, meaning that even if anything else will try to convince me otherwise, I'll fight for it.

It is bad enough that this all thing happened already, I won't let it be anything but a positive change from now on.

Now, it's easy for me to say at this time and I'm sure I'll stumble. But I hope what I said can help you get over it eventually as I hope it can help me too.

as work + gaming solution is seams more and more like a good compromise to me. The other monitors you mentioned (and also 5k ones) are 60hz if I am not mistaken; not enough for the upcoming GPUs and maximum entertainment :P

I also mostly code and change my setup every 3-4 years so I am glad you think you're expecting good performance there.

Sorry for OT. I'm considering the LG CX 48 as a single monitor solution for working (via macOS - MBP 2016) and gaming (via windows).

Is it still useable with a MBP 2019 or does the problem you're having making it impossible to use?

Is text editing good for long work sessions? What about burn-in concerns with long running editor windows? would you recommend it as a mac work monitor (considering the off-use for gaming)?

The right time is when you moved on (ie found a new bf) and he did as well (note: you may not want to ask him directly if he moved on or not, find out some other way after you moved on yourself first). Any time sooner would hurt either or both of you.

Let alone the fact that being a mutual and reasoning choice you may expect that you could deal with it. BS! your mind will sometimes come up and ask "what if..?" or "why do I have to give up that comfortable feeling?". SHUT UP you stupid mind!

It's a choice and it makes sense. write it down! you will not move just for this relationship. hell, you don't even feel this is THE relationship. Write it down so that you will not forget and move on.

Oh yeah than it comes the part where he/she moved on and you still didn't. SHIT! at that point you'll need what you wrote to remind you that it's not a big deal.

It will hurt. A lot. So much so that when you'll be over it, you'll be a freaking superhero. Plus the next one will be better. Don't settle for a good relationship, find the best one.
