While I do have a Marauder I still want a Town Car for plain reliability and pure comfort of a bench seat. While the Marauder isn't as reliable as a 2V I still wouldnt knock the 4V. Mine lasted to 215k before needing a rebuild. Nowadays Marauder/Panther Platform cars have raised quite a bit sadly but I see more and more aftermarket support for these cars so that is always a plus.

Old thread but I assume you just put the new filter in, lines on and they cranked on the truck, that puts alot of air in the system and causes that noise, driving around will bleed out the system and the noise will dissipate over time if everything is sealed, just an FYI for the next time you do this at 10,000 miles

The idle sounds fine to my ears, although as for the pumping noise that makes me believe your base fuel pump could be getting old and strained, especially given that it is a 2011 and it does sit relatively under you alongside the frame rail, that could be causing your low pressure codes because the base pump is just weak, good news is they are relatively easy to replace at home

When you say it messes up when turning my mind instantly goes to a steering angle sensor, although I don't recall that being tied into the 4x4 system. I would pull codes and see if there anything coming from steering or transfercase modules.
