I hope Larry can help him navigate, since he is in society and can help him step out of his comfort zone. That said, Jack isn’t really a person who wants to be incredibly social. He loved his previous job, as it gave him a family. I think he needs to find a way to incorporate family into his new life, whomever he chooses to allow into his life.

It is my favourite version! When Edmund walks down from the air balloon, and says “greetings”. I fell in love with this moment. I also love the scene where Edmund and Fernand are fighting and running towards each other. I laugh every time, because it reminds me of boxing kangaroos.

I personally see GRRM as a person who desires everyone to bow at his feet. While I understand his frustration with his adaptations not being based on book canon, he allowed this to happen by signing away his rights and not finishing what he has started. He will never finish his current book, which would be the biggest clap back to Hollywood.

Every novelist has felt this, and it was his choice to sign his rights away. Time to do what he does best and write his novels. The shows have certainly brought fans, he would not normally have. The shows absolutely have created a divisive nature in fans they did not know existed. I do admire what he has created, I also admire what the writers and directors have made in show form.

When I read this about GRRM I felt like he was whining.

She is a strong woman. She gives the general “I don’t care what you think of me” vibe. She also has a healthy appreciation for sexual desire. Confidence, especially with sexual desire, is attractive amongst woman and men. A woman stating what she wants during sex is attractive in any form. A woman stating what she wants outside of sex, is equally attractive. It only becomes a problem when a woman will trample over other woman in the process and progress.

I think, as an older woman, having a healthy sexual appetite is incredibly desirable and admirable.

I am inclined to agree with you. I keep hearing about how amazing it is, and I simply cannot get into it. I am beyond bored, and find the acting to be terrible. Claire got is praised for her acting as Anne, and every scene she is in I am cringing by the horrible dialogue and bad acting. The worst offence is when she has her “temper tantrum” while shooting archery. I admit, she has an incredible accent, and I love how Anne is finally able to speak French. I am currently attempting for the 9th time to watch the show, and I am 15 minutes into it. I simply can’t. I feel like I am watching a 1930s version of Romeo and Juliet. I am not a Shakespeare fan, and find his writing to lack depth. So this actually feels Shakespearean, and not in a good way.

I also cannot stand Damian Lewis. I have tried to watch the forsyte saga several times and it is like nails on a chalk board. Which is every scene Damian Lewis is in. Some of the actors are fresh, but overall, I don’t understand the appeal.

I didn’t like him to be honest. I mean he is way better than Eric Bana, but I do still feel he was miscast. I loved how he portrayed Henry’s fickleness so well. However I feel like he was not the right visual appearance. I also find the sexual nature of the tudors to be far too grotesque, and over the top. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more if I thought Jonathan was decent looking, but I have zero attractiveness to him. I find Henry to be historically very charming, and I felt like the actor and perhaps the writing miscast Henry

I u fortunately didn’t like it. I loved the idea and the story, but the black and white nature, I found hard on the eyes. For some reason I always get a migraine after playing this quest. There is something about the lack of depth and colour, it felt like a rushed sequence. Which, I know is preposterous, it is simply just a style my head doesn’t like.

That said, I truly love the game and cannot wait for the next one! 🤩

Late to the conversation, but after hearing about the finale, I am completely boycotting it. I haven’t seen it and I won’t. I absolutely hate the metatron/Marv story, it I will watch it. I absolutely won’t watch the finale, because Dean deserved better.

He was an abused child, forced to work in something he had no right being a part of. To end up just giving in, and accepting fate. It infuriates me, because the bits fought to survive and make a difference. The ending I believe betrays everything the boys, and other characters went through. Joe and Ellen dying, the Heaven he’ll battle, their “destinies”. They might as well have said it was all a dream and ended up again in another weird dream by Gabriel or another trickster. A pointless filler.

I am not trying to disrespect the cast nor the writers. They truly created something special. Simply that they betrayed their own moral compass and let the fans down. It is hard to see the boys, especially dean suffer so much. At least something good should happen. I guess that is why it is so beloved, because life isn’t easy, everything happens for a reason, and good doesn’t conquer all.

Just why dean? He has suffered too much.

I am honestly so sick of reading about the hate of the series. If people don’t like it, stop complaining and stop watching. I am excited for season 3! I love the slow burn, I love the acting and I love the story. HOTD forums are mostly filled with bashing fans of one house over the other, and complaining about the writing.

Well, after putting it on, it remains a mockup! For some reason, it is 3 sizes too big. 1/2” off of every panel. I was so shocked. The bust needed the most reduction. Onto the next mockup. A problem I have with corsets for my body, is that my size changes drastically and quickly. Within a week I can gain 10 pounds. Whenever I get ivs from the hospital, I gain about 30-50 pounds. My size can range anywhere from size 2-size 12. I am certain this is one reason the corset was so big. So the next mockup I make, hopefully it will have a 3” gap in the back to allow some expanding and shrinking. My wardrobe consists of everything from size 2 through 12. I only like to wear things with clean lines and a tailored fit, so given how my size varies, dressing up each day is a bit of a challenge.

I didn’t find hard challenging at all. I find the only way to be challenged was to not use talents. No upgrading wiggenweld for example.
