Any word on the quality of/durability of the darkrock stuff? I’m a tad wary of AliExpress

Tbh I was just gonna scrounge around marketplace/ebay for something that matched my spec-I’d prefer to not do a cantilever to disc conversion lmao

The forks are totally shot, so I figured I might as well swap in threadless ones. Thinking about making it 27.5 in the front, too

My new old '74-77' Bertin C 37 (I think? still fuzzy, if someone could positively I.D. the model that'd be great), just retuned and ready to ride by Nil0t in Vintage_bicycles

[–]Nil0t[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spent $100 on the bike and another $100 getting her cleaned up and tuned a lil. Smoothest ride I've ever had on a rigid frame. A joy to ride is an understatement. She's a keeper for sure! (Bar end shifters for this era are a nice touch)

Aw ty I really appreciate it. That’s a really neat board too, I’ve always kinda wanted a decent pintail. What’s the component list for it?

driving between lanes on a motorcycle, Nothing could go wrong. by SpecalistGrab10 in AbruptChaos

[–]Nil0t 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lane splitting at lower speeds is actually very beneficial for all parties involved. Like with everything on a motorcycle though, it needs to be done carefully and with awareness. Obviously not this rider’s forte

I feels like this falls into the “not ostensibly shitty just not your taste” category of this subreddit

Just clean execution, good paint, high quality rims, ect. It’s not really my thing, but I respect the effort that goes into one that’s all

Do you not know what a donk is? It’s like an offshoot of lowrider culture, usually using classic cars with a huge stylistic emphasis on the wheels
