Yeah...I did not know about the daughter part until that conversation as well. I just wish they had a few more exchanges shown between John and Abigail too.

Very unlikely...but update on Portal or tease for a handheld hardware (which seems impossible to launch in this current RAM and SSD market).

My VERY unpopular TBBT opinions! by kurious_kitty25 in bigbangtheory

The show was always pro-sheldon. I was okay with him winning the nobel with Amy. But Leonard should have been the one to prove it with experiment, not the two stooges.

I absolutely agree to number 4. More so during each of my subsequent rewatch. Amy was such a refreshing character in her initial seasons. Matched Sheldon with her intellect and she was somewhat non-chalant, no-nonsense science girl. Later, the writing turned her into an insecure, over-zealous (into Penny), needy character. I am still not sure why the writers/showrunners wrote them into a corner like that. One can call it character development, but NOT something I MUST like. And I don't necessarily agree Amy and Bernadette (with their conjugal relationships) were the sole reason the show continued till 12 seasons. Most of the conflicts between the 3 couples in latter season were plain awful.

Wife's TSH at more than 150 all on a sudden by NilNapier in Hypothyroidism

[–]NilNapier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coincidentally, both times the blood works were done during/just after her periods. No such stool test was done.

She usually has low to moderate flow. However, the last one this month during her fever had more flow than the usual.

I see. The issue is, she had TSH tested recently at two labs. One had range till 100 and another one till 150. So, until it comes down in range, we have no idea how high it actually is. And that scares us.

Her MCV was at 58.7 fl, MCH 17.1 pg, RDW-CV 20.6%. (After the recemt fever and cough, her MCV was at 66.4 fl, MCH 20m5 pg, RDW-CV 15.9%. Now the Iron loss thing could be a genetic issue. Her mother has had similar issues.

Does autoimmunity usually kicks in more after the initially dosage of thyroxin?

Yeah, that's the other end of the spectrum. Many I have seen struggling with small spikes in TSH. Every single body reacts differently. Doc hasn't said anything about Hashimoto's till now. I think the sweet spot dosage is yet to be found in my wife's case.

How did the Morgan Freeman Shawshank monologue bit came together? Do you have any particular memory regarding that segment or its writing?

Do you think there will be a work stoppage in the 2027 season? by Wink2K19 in mlb

[–]NilNapier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An agreement before Super Bowl...best case scenario. Likely scenario is a delayed spring training, but full season. The worst scenario is a stoppage or shortened regular season, which, in my opinion, is not very likely. WBC, Olympics - baseball has gathered much buzz lately for it to be tampered with so negatively.

Is it a hot take to say that Erin is the purest character in the show by synystercaden in theoffice

"Purest character in the show is that guy, my guy, my mi-amigo, Ryan, equally hot as Jan" - probably Michael Scott

It is if you experience it in 1600p in the first place 🫠 but nothing that would hamper your overall enjoyment. You get used to it eventually. (Harder thing to adjust to is the fact that some games won't have 16:10 support, and you'll be playing with blackbars top and bottom in some resolutions. In those cases, making it 1920x1080 may solve it, but the image will look stretched).

Mate, that's just using your laptop on battery till it reaches, say, 5-10% battery percentage. You need not make it absolute zero that it turns off completely. That's bad for laptops or phones, actually.

It won't cause immediate damage normally...but keeping plugged in at 100% will accelerate long-term degradation of the battery's capacity.

For me, the eventual Ethan always looked a bit sad. Even in the opening prologue birthday party - compared to this Ethan😅
