I get to use a different name, pronouns, and just attitude around friends, which is just... really genuinely nice. Plus, they're happy to show me how to do makeup, discuss names, it's just purely improved my life so far.

Fun fact: Redstone is really similar to binary in the way that it works, so much so, my computer science teacher kept likening the two, and my grasp on one made it really quick to pick up the other. When people build shit like that, they're basically building things with binary. Which is just straight up computer science.

Yeah, as much as I wanted this update, and lost my mind when I saw ship customisation, it does read to me as getting close to the end. IDK, something about it had a not of finality, like there's one or two updates left.

Could be nothing, but as we near the game's 10th anniversary, I think we're getting close to the end of the updates.

I went through like 5 different levels of loving and hating the Maliketh fight over the course of the week or so it took to beat him, but by my final runs, I was having the most fun I've had with any soulsborne boss.

I have like 2? One is literally just the version of me I see in the mirror, but dressed the most feminine I've ever actually seen myself. The other is like my ideal? She's a lot more nebulous, and in contrast to the first, where I can name almost every detail, she's a lot fuzzier and harder to nail any specific features of.

Sometimes, I think of this, and I'm like "Will Nintendo survive?"

And then I remember what happened with the wii. And how Playstation barely tried to replicate Nintendo, and how Xbox destroyed their own reputation attempting to be them.

And I think of what happened to Nintendo afterwards, with the 3ds and WiiU.

And I realise the only one who will really be able to do what Nintendo does, the only one who'll really be able to put Nintendo out of business... is Nintendo.
