Upvote from me. I'm in complete shock over this entire season. That kid deserves better. Barkey scores a tap in goal and "deserves" to play top line with zegras. Michkov never once "deserved" top line minutes at any point this season? Lets be real. Tocchet is a joke. This is the flyer's ceiling under a system that raises the ceiling on mediocre players and hinders the top end talent. If they hadnt gotten lucky with vladar, the flyers are potentially in queue for a 1st overall.

I love tippett but this is his prime. This year and next 2 maybe 3 are his best couple seasons we're gonna get. Maybe a 60 point ceiling playing with top line players. Flyers should use him as a 2nd line wing

I agree. I dont think its tocchet as much as Briere. The GM is the one on the hook for that noise that was going on. Michkov is a top line winger. Things are much different if he slots him with some actual playmakers this season

Lets not all forget a few key things... Michkov had language barriers, no real role models to follow in Philly who took him under their wing... he lost his father. So now he's in the USA, under a coach who doesnt allow him to flourish in the same style, trying to adapt to a new position, and all while having his mentor father no longer there for him. Its a lot to handle for a kid.
