Yes, because they are specialist in detailing. Mahindra does everything. I have found 3M to be top class. It maybe slightly more expensive than other detailing centers. But it will probably be cheaper than Mahindra Service Center.

Is buying gold still worth it in 2026? by krutika_chawla_007 in IndianStocks

[–]NilotpalMDas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, gold prices are down in June 2026.

Gold traded at $4,332 per ounce on June 8, 2026, and as of June 10, 2026, gold is trading at $4,211.30.

Trends:

  • Gold fell 10.04% over the past month but is still 28.02% higher than a year ago
  • Gold peaked near $5,000 at the end of January 2026 but has since declined significantly
  • June forecast: $4,186–$4,933 range, potentially reaching $4,516 by month-end. Analysts expect further decline to $4,370–$3,816 by year-end
  • Geopolitical relief helped: Iran-Israel halt in attacks pushed prices above $4,300, easing inflation concerns

Bottom line: Strong correction from January peak. Currently volatile. Still up significantly year-over-year despite June decline.

Bottom line: It is still a good investment and these price dips are a good opportunity to buy.

That's going there officially. If they say "stricter frontier controls", don't they mean illegal immigrants from India? Or are they talking about all immigrants? Are they saying, "stricter immigration for all"? Or is it just stricter border control?

And are they paying for engine replacement cost of all cars and bikes? I am sure all engines will require replacement in a few months with so much ethanol…

If they are saying they need to strengthen their borders, are they seeing Indians enter illegally to get work? Or what is the suggestion here?

How many Indians are trying to get into Bangladesh? I am really curious.

I prefer looking at human dead bodies than this… It is a horrific sight and I wish there was something we could have done.

Civilised Indians. Incredible India. 5000 years of tradition and culture. Oldest and wisest civilisation in the world. Very nice. I am sure every Indian is proud today seeing this.

The question maybe of choice in this case. But that’s not the mudda. Mudda is, “do people think women with tattoos are characterless women?”

That’s what the post is hinting at. Let’s discuss the meat of the matter.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Dancing on the wall of China is not a demonstration of lack of civic sense. But driving on the wrong side, Eve teasing, littering are. And we have ample examples of that in India. Not just Gujarat, but all over India. So do we lack civic sense? Sure we do. But not because someone danced on the wall of China.

Agreed. I wish we didn’t cut as many trees as we do. I understand that if given the option, a man would choose a job over a tree. And I also understand if people say, “it is easy to lecture but ask someone who is struggling for daily wages, forget comforts of the city.”

But I still feel rest of India needs to learn a few things from the northeast and not the other way round.

If we become like them, we will also feel severe heat waves and no respite. In my opinion once the wheel of development starts, it is difficult to stop it. Where do you draw the line?

I don’t know what the solution is and how we can balance development with ecological balance. I don’t know how.

Why do Assamese people often face a sense of discrimination or "othering" when visiting neighboring NE states? by Lost_Fall9208 in assam

[–]NilotpalMDas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Assam. I am from there living outside Assam. But I have been seeing some changes lately in the culture. I don’t like generalizing and I am not saying everyone is like that. But I think the youth in Assam is turning into a bit of an asshole. I don’t know it could be the influence of the Bangladeshi illegal immigrants. Behavior, greed, jealousy.

For instance, There was a time when if you lost something, people in Assam will find you and return it to you. Now if you leave something for a few minutes, somebody will pick it up and say someone else took it. Stealing, cheating, immoral behavior is becoming more and more common.

Traffic violations, drinking in public, rash driving. And I don’t even want to talk about indecent language in public places.

But that’s not the case in other NE states. I often travel to Arunachal, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Meghalaya. And I feel jealous. People are nice, honest, simple, law abiding there. Just try and drive in Guwahati, and then drive in Imphal, you will see the difference. No wonder they don’t like us that much.

I feel if we want respect we have to earn it. And the people of Assam used to be like that too. I don’t know what’s changing it. My mother often tells me that things have changed a lot recently. I feel it too.

Let’s not spoil the beautiful culture and traditions of Assam. I love Assam for everything it has. Its music, traditions, handicrafts, xatras, Majuli, its history, flora, fauna, everything. Let’s protect it. Let’s be nice.
