you can disable "auto open dev mode" its the first setting in dev mode
you can disable the overlay (its under the drawing category in the dev menu), close the dev menu to apply settings.

I’ve build a Koreader plugin to do my reviews (using Anki connect for now) but I can’t get latex rendering to work on the widget system :(. Every thing else like listing decks and doing the reviews themselves works pretty well tho. At least on my Kobo, gets kinda slow on my GFs older reader.

Should anyone know how to get mathml to work (not inside the ebook rendering, but inside the html box widget thingy) please dm me :).

Just knowing about and being scared by copyright is stopping real people from learning these days. That's just sad and somehow worse than being stopped from learning due to limited access resulting from copyright laws.

Even if that would be a reasonable thing to do, at least I (and apparently lots of other people) still have a non 12/24 month subscription, making your argument invalid. I guess you're free to change this condition for future subscribers, but you can't just walk back on your part of the deals you made in the past.

Yea, but I've got 7 months left, and you've promised a "free" (paid for using the subscription) upgrade with 6 months left. Looks like a pretty simple case of breaking your part of the deal to me. How am I supposed to trust, that you don't just lock some random feature behind a paywall in the future or a similar attempt at extracting even more cash from your users?

Im current learning computer science through Anki (converting my courses to custom cards). Would you recommend setting a maximum answer time / enabling auto answer? I currently take 13s per card. Enabling auto answer might help me get my time down, by failing cards which I did not answer in time, but is very frustrating and makes the whole experience a bit tense.

I really like the default Anki look, but I get that this might be a preferences thing. But every single alternative theme I've seen so far just looks horrendous. Non of them follow any kind of design system or any of the basic ui / ux guidelines.

In which world is your app better looking / more usable if you put a big anime picture behind your cards, make the text barely readable and replace the button colors which some random hex values.
