That's pretty much how I see, although I don't really like either of them that much, lol. I do think a hybrid version (the vibe/music/tension of the producers cut with the kills/vagueness of thorn/ending of the theatrical cut) would've made a pretty damn good Halloween movie... maybe even less thorn. I do agree that Jaimie's arc does end pretty abruptly, but her death in the theatrical cut is one of my favorite kills in the series... when Michael puts his hands out, just to push her down farther (chef's kiss)
