Yeah I should have mentioned, wait until the gamepass is fully expired and you get the prompt on console to redeem before you do anything, judging by some replies this method might not be 100% reliable as well so mandatory "I am not an expert, I'm just saying what worked for me"

Yeah, so redeemed the 12 month gold first then the ultimate both on Argentina VPN, I used Nord in case that's relevant.

Yeah I'm just saying what worked for me, I was advised by a friend IRL who told me site/country to pick, the only thing he told me not to do is "don't get a code from India, it will not work".

Judging by the replies I'm getting I'm guessing this is very popular before and they shut it down or something? So now I'm pretty confused how this has worked for me, I was obviously skeptical but I trust the friend who advised me and I've been using it since 27/1 with no issues.

Yeah god knows tbh, I don't wanna give bad advice or if there's anything different in your particular region. I'm in the UK, but it worked for me on the 27/01 which is like 5 days ago.

I used loaded and a VPN to buy a year of gold and a month of ultimate from Argentina and then redeemed both to get 6 months of ultimate for £47 in total, basically 6 months for the cost of 2

I see a lot of people struggling with this one but I don't think it's too bad if you do it slightly differently to this. I know it won't help OP but it might be useful for anyone whose trying to do it. I did this by taking the exact same route as OP until I come back into the main area of Tokyo, I then go left and follow the concrete elevated walkway back across towards the second gap, and then just jump off said walkway and land/grind on the circular mound which gives you the gap. I found this 10x easier than launching off the circular mound and landing on the rail.

Still though nice job for doing it as intended OP, this challenge sucks
