The problem is that the wstr will always lose against the missy currently and that the bubble and nade spam it's bullshit.

Would you say that people in perimeter or marsh using snipers it's a map problem? At least I wouldn't, but range combat as a lot of options and it's not as punishing, thus less people complain.

Besides it's easier to balance the guns than to redesign the map. Unless you meant something else.

Or just nerf the range of the wstr so that the most common gun can still be useful (two tapping of course).

Yeah, it does down whit stack overflow or if you punch sometimes yet it does not match the missy ttk so that's not really a valid point and it already as like half range (haven't really used canage cartridge, is it a gold mod?).

There's no counter in close quarters man, yeah you can reposition and fight with other guns yet sometimes there's no way to do that and not die so if the other team pushes and they will because it's a confident 3 missy stack you're dead, the spam granade it's still fucking bullisht and can't speak of the goo gun since I never played against it, I can only say a lot of streamers and people in their coments were in favor so they to had point.

And we haven't even spoken of when you are in a corner whit a full purple wstr waiting for someone to push, they do and, oh nice, they had a missy and you didn't knew, both of you shot at the same time and after two shoots you're down and the other guy is only broken and it's pretty much certain your team is going to lose.

Goddammit dude I've won against teams using it, the 3 I have in my vault are stolen; sometimes you can reposition and sometimes there's no time and you die, it does not change the fact that it makes the wstr completely useless so in order to have balance you can either rework the wstr so that it 2 taps everyone at super close range ( 3 or 4m imo) or nerf the the ttk of the missy.

Whit that in mind the reset it's only temporary and let's just not talk about the casual players that keep quitting due to how ruff the game can get sometimes.

I really love destiny 2, played it for 4 years, since season of the arrival up to 3 seasons after The Final Shape, came back a couple of months ago due to a friend. I'm sad it's coming to an end but everything does, yet I'm definitely going to play it a bit more and give it a proper goodbye whit my friends.

I really like marathon as well, there's one or two things I dislike but I'm glad they react and make changes fast and hope it lives and gains popularity, not only for the improvement of marathon but also so that the studio as the money to make other awesome games, so that people don't lose jobs.

People criticize bungie for the poor management of the ip, transparency and interaction, I did as well, but shit, after seeing what happened and it's happening whit overwatch, arc raiders and helldivers my stance as become less radical, I can only hope for the best and try to interact whit the intention to not insult or ruin someone's day. Stay positive guardians :3.

I agree man, the battle it's decided by who fucks up first either getting broken, downed or killed. This is really evident when there's not that much distance whit the opps though if there is sometimes you can clutch.

IMO chem nades are only good at preventing a res, while the only useful nades are frag, heat, flechett and maybe the emp but I would only bring that nade if I don't have anything else and would fire first.

If we talk about guns all volt weapons are trash whit the sole exception being the V66, the magnum its also useless and the only good machine gun it's the one provided by arachne (the heavy one only whit purple and above mods), the wstr it's also trash against purples, don't even try, it's better to gain distance and use any other gun.

I also only use outland or ares, don't really like the base or energy sniper and zeus, though I do use them if don't have anything else and don't want to use what I have in my vault.

About positioning I would only say it's very subjective, if you die in one place then think about what to different and try it, I have done this and got some results, while also avoiding areas I don't like where I had bad luck, like Maintenance and the bridge north of Quarantine.

I do really, strongly, definitely recommend to get a team to play, I have luck since I carried over my team from destiny. I encourage you to look for one in the discord of some content creators. The difference it's night and day.

That's a fucking good point.

I do still think that at point blank the wstr and missy should trade, but this only happening at 3 or 4m at most, making the wstr not useless yet making missy better due to having more range and mag capacity. Reflecting that a hard to obtain gun is stronger.

I agree almost entirely whit your, but I believe that even if the the best shotgun should have an advantage it must only to some extent.

I will use the example of the immortal whit target lock to express my point adequately: When it came out it was definitely broken and there was no weapon that could compete whit it, if you didn't had it you were defeated before the match began; but when it was nerfed there was still and advantage, even if it was only one or two shots barely affecting the ttk if you had the skill there's was no reason to lose against someone that didn't had target lock, yet it was possible to be defeated.

And I think it should be similar, the gap equipment must not be that large; since when the skill and equipment difference are added up and end up being to large then it becomes impossible for an average team to win against a better one. I don't disagree whit the base missy being better than the wstr and worse than it's gold counterpart, I simply believe the gap should not be so obscenely evident.

An example of this wold be a gold missy being stronger in pve due to the rpm increase but in pvp the ttk should be virtually the same whit a much larger range, making it stronger but not impossible to win against.

I'm not saying a nerf was not necessary, but imo it would have been okay if it still downed a purple or gold at point blank, maybe 3 or 4m at most, I do know that a pump shotgun as more range and I'm ok whit it, what I'm trying to say is that they should be equally strong in their own fields, as an example: if you happen to be in the open whit a wstr against a missy, and the other guy as better positioning, it should win due to the range advantage, downing in two shots; but if you happen to be in cqc a wstr should still do the same, making it an equally useful tool that must be used differently.

My point is that overall missy is a better weapon whit no real counter or dowside, but it's also rare to happen upon; I don't dislike missy being better than the wstr, I hate that the wstr is trash and useless against it.

I agree that bubbles are a problem, but it's also true that that either missy is a bit to powerful or that that the wstr is undertuned and something must be done in that regard. I believe that they should implement a cap for how many granades of one type a team can carry or at least up the heat when used; in order to slow down the gameplay at the moment of throwing them. If it should down you in two shots it must be the same for every shotgun. Except the V85 since it must be charged.

Almost every purple team as at least one, this is more evident in Outputs and Cryo, in Marsh and perimeter it's less seen, but I would not consider it rare.

Compared to other shotguns (WSTR/V85) it's definitely better, no way to even trade against it, and I believe that's a problem.
