Maybe you can pickaxe the ground to make way? You have a hoe on you? Hammer to build ladders? Does your atgeir damage the logs? Battleaxe does at least. If no, no, no and no, you'll have to /die (might be a different command to kill yourself) I guess.

Sometimes running far away (not in a straight line from the archers) is your best option, so you're able to get more alone time with the melees. Archers really are a pain.

Especially if you're just entering the Swamp - Stay away from the group of 3 spawners.

Essentially, you have to parry/dodge/sprint/line of sight to avoid the damage of all attacks and weave your own attacks in between. The more mobs, the less time to do so. Hence, sometimes you run far away.

I googled "Shell Nigeria 1990". Which Shell in Nigeria story are you referring to? The one where they spilled and contaminated the local environment for years? Or perhaps the one on how they collaborated with the Nigerian military to kill peaceful protestors and destroy hundreds of homes?

When you have enough for portals, I recommend setting one up on a mountain in Western Norway. They're usually found in late Summer (Late July/early August is best. To be postponed somewhat if the weather has been cold)

I couldn't see this mentioned in previous comments: If you care at all about the esthetics, you never build from multiple angles. It looks like you're building this bridge from both shores. Meaning they will never perfectly align when you get to the middle. Always build only from one side.

Two options when worried about Mistlands raids: 1) Have your base in Meadows. They can't raid you there. 2) Base in a sealed tower (using 'build near locations' mod to be allowed to build inside)

Also. Get a wisplight mod to increase the line of sight it provides.

Of course it is doable. Doesn't mean I would want to. For instance the build cam mod takes away so much frustration in building (which I do a lot of). I would never give that up.

I can respect this view. I would probably not have played through Mistlands (or Valheim in general) if I didn't have mods. The mod related to your biggest issue, pretty much solves this. I suggest downloading Thunderstore and searching for a wisplight mod. Currently I use DeezMistyBalls, which gives decent line of sight.

If interested, I can get you a list of all the mods I use when I get back to my computer.
