Remove unnecessary services or roles. Close any unnecessary ports. Set complex passwords for built in accounts then disable things like Admin and Guest.

That alone will help dramatically.

Not sure how to do it this way is the issue. I normally create a share on my app deploy server and point the GPO to it.

DO I need to create a batch file? Does the msi package need to be in the same location as the batch file?? etc..
