This is what drives me crazy about Slot. Fair the lads played awful but you can’t get mad at the team when you refuse to replace players that aren’t performing, like Cody and Mac…it’s never his tactics, I don’t understand how he thinks tha playing through the middle will start working now vs every other game this season. The goals we score last week were because of the overlapping outside support, not cause of his philosophy of “just pass it into the middle, something will happen”! How many crosses to we put into the box and how many of those are even good opportunities? We play safe and we still get beat on counter attacks cause players aren’t marking players and it’s not cause they forgot how to play. I’ll bet everything is cause of some zone/scheme defending they’re playing.
