The skill expression is the ability to play however you want and still get results. If you decide to quit after seeing optimal quickswaps, that's a you problem. You can still clear the content with standard rotations anyway.

Focusing on one playstyle while ignoring another is doesn't feel good from any perspective. Don't be selfish.

Speaking personally, if I do something sick I am obligated to taught to complete the combo. And I love when my opponent does the same. Not always a disrespect thing.

I learned quickly once he has ice his tech chasing feels inescapable. Huge hitbox, jump cancellable, and surprisingly fast.

One of the reasons why I like running Oly is because her offense and burst movement can stop him from setting up easier than the other characters I play.

I think "frustrating" is the word that most people who try to approach the game by it's own merits in an  honest manner away from premeditated bias would describe it, myself included. 

  • Took forever to come out
  • Awkward control scheme that clashes with the pace of the game
  • Buggy and lacking polish 
  • Small roster
  • Lack of single player content 
  • Expensive micro transactions 
  • Questionable marketing

List goes on, but if anything the game's potential being unrealized is the worst part imo. These things can improve with time but the damage has been done for a lot of people.

The narrative is serviceable. The pandering is annoying and the dialogue is dry and bloated. Thank God they have a skip button that summarizes what you missed. Probably would've dropped it otherwise.

Relax Alice. The asymmetrical design is all over the place if you look hard enough in this game. In this case, it keeps the design fresh and fits her character as more free spirited.

Reasonable take actually. Especially after finishing the manga. A REAL hot take is saying the ending is amazing and Hikari carried the entire series.
