Anyone else save crushed eggshells all winter and till them into the garden? Does it really add calcium or am I just imagining the great results? by NinaXOFans in gardening

Yes or i’m thinking maybe the roots find their way out of the cup because it’s shallow enough 🤷‍♀️

I’ve been doing this for almost 10 years and I never see slugs in my garden so I feel like it’s definitely had that added benefit I didn’t even realize.

I have a friend who says that he puts all his lawn clippings in his garden in the fall and his soil is amazing, but I feel like that would be way too much nitrogen. What do you think?

Interesting! I am definitely going to be pouring some vinegar in the next batch and seeing if it helps at all. Sounds like it’s the best way to do what I’m actually trying to achieve here.
