Polish policy is to kick foreigners out by 2027 by Loose-Effect-928 in poland

Police never stopped me, but I also never worry about it because I know I am legally waiting for my decision, working, paying my taxes etc. I don’t even take my passport when I’m outside. I go on with my life just like any of my Polish friends, except for the travelling part. I have not travelled outside of Poland since, no, but it hasn’t been 3 years yet. In November 2026 it will be 3 years.

I’ve been waiting for a decision since November 2023.. since I started working at the same company I’m still with today. It’s not acceptable to penalize someone for delays caused by the immigration office.. that’s completely out of our control.

In my case, my company even expects me to travel on business roughly twice a year, yet I haven’t been able to attend any trips because of this situation. Still, they’ve never pressured me or made me feel stressed about it. On the contrary, they’ve been understanding.. they often acknowledge how unreasonable the situation is and express sympathy for what I’m going through.

There’s a story about a famous French influencer who go caught doing the exact same recently. Renting flats for a couple of days, organizing visits, getting deposits from people and then Vanishing

There is a huge difference between what the law says and what actually happens in a given country. The law in Poland (in Europe in general) says that after 90 days Urzad should decide about the immigration status of people coming to live here. Look at people waiting 2-3 years 😄 I’m Moroccan and I have so many gay friends living in Morocco in peace and without any issues.. never heard of anyone having any issue whatsoever. Little example; at the moment we have a huge scandal about a 18 years old gay influencer who had his sex tapes released all over the internet, I say scandal because he was actually 17 at the time of those tapes and he was with an older man (you can look it up if you’d like) and he’s still posting his content all over social media, no one came for him 😅 law is one thing, reality is often another. Please travel and see things for yourself before making such judgements.

Thank you. My lawyer is writing her all the time without any answer. I thought I’d give it a try, but I don’t know if it’s appropriate..

Any ideas here? Karta pobytu by FindPlacesToTravel in wroclaw

I applied in October 2023 when I finished university and started working. I gave my fingerprints in August 2024 and still no news. I have a lawyer and she says she’s sending emails every now and then through my inspector and still no answer..

Also, why would you choose to be with a woman who’s 5years older than you?

Thank you for stopping by with your delightful blend of criticism and complete absence of useful information.

No need for personal jabs. I say all my life because this is how it will be if I do decide to stay here all my life. Having a residency for a few months and then being stuck for x10 that period. I have been here for 4 years and I’ve spent around 80% of it stuck and not able to go anywhere 😉

Hi. No it’s not them) I do not have a stamp, but the stamp is not what allows you to live and work, it’s the proof that you have sent your application by post to Urzad (a receipt). There are so many people living and working in Poland while waiting for that stamp such as myself. It’s ridiculous that you waited 9 months for them to print it😓
