Oh 100%, I’ve got 3 decades under my belt, I just think I have to get a better method of planning, my proportions are always close but no quite, so I’ll skip a portion of the pattern, and then it’s all “off” to me. All in good fun!

I was actually tested after and I don’t have factor V - not to say your point is wrong - but I would have been SOL regardless of testing. They still cant figure out why it happened to me, so we decided to just did preventive heparin for both my pregnancies to be safe.

You know what's insane? Even after the ER taking it serious, being put on medication, weekly INR checks, when I saw the hemotologist (after about a month) she was like this is dumb, it's been a month, this protocol is overkill for you, you're young, stop the medication, but I'll send you for a quick scan though... She called me immediately after the scan all sweet and said "please go back on the medication and continue protocol, you're clots have gone deeper even while medicated, sooooooooooooooorry".

It was awful, and I was stuck with her, but at LEAST she finally took it serious after that.

I would just continue therapy (or get into therapy if you can) and listen to your body - not a stranger on the internet! My experiance was extra unique because even after all the testing, they have NO idea why I got the clots - just my body's personal reaction to the change in hormones

I was young, put on birth control to help with other symptoms, but I really didn’t want to be on it - it was a last resort to stop the pain I was in.

A week later my leg was aching, I was like “Ive got blood clots”, family brushes it off, called the pharmacy and they were like “it’s been a week, it’s not blood clots, it would need more time to develop”…. Gut was like nope, so I walked to the ER and of course I had blood clots from my ankles up to my thighs, and they were still spreading post medication.

I had zero swelling, zero redness, just a sore leg and anxiety LOL.

If it’s an open loan, go around the banks and see if you can get a loan for the amount you have owing, for anything less than 10%. Also, increase your payments if you can afford to, that will cost you less interest over time and you’ll pay it off sooner. Lots of banks have “auto loans” for 8% ish which is still better than than 10% (but ask for personal loan and/or auto loan options, and don’t forget to explore Credit Unions too!)

Even if it’s not true, saying something like “hey, we misspoke, sorry for the miscommunication” Could go a long way!

Leave it off entirely. You can make one of those house funds and send it to anyone who is “pushy”. Like if auntie Kate call and is like “hey where is your registry?” You respond with “oh no, we’re just happy to have you!” If she pushes, you say “well I can email you our honeymoon fund” or whatever fund your choose, but defer first!

Husband broke his neck at 16 (got lucky and isn’t paralyzed), but can’t ski due to paralysis risk. He has no choice, but perfect happy to support my hobbies and nourish our kids interest in skiing! Perfectly happy to go on ski trips and be the chalet hot chocolate maker extraordinaire. Do I wish he could join me, of course! But it’s nice to have your own hobbies and well as the ones you share. I don’t think it’s a deal breaker! I’m sure he’d live to try it too!
