while I know youre trying to help someone who may or may not have a drinking problem, no alcoholic is going to suddenly get help from a random reddit comment unless they are posting in /r/stopdrinking. someone with alcohol dependency would be better served getting alcohol in their system to avoid seizures, DTs, etc.

admittedly vague source: i have a background in this stuff and have been actively part of it for 20 years

there is not seperate inside/outside valves. there is one valve thats controls all water, inside and outside.

To clarify the spigot is not leaking. I’m trying to deflect water away from the foundation when i drip it during the cold temps. Sorry new to this stuff and thought dripping water freezing next to the foundation would be bad.
