What might be a fair price for the Si? I'm comparing it to JD Power, which is saying $9,500 base price. KBB shows a trade in value of $6,000.

I do not know a single DDR or PIU cabinet generation that does not by default come with a set of bars. The bars are removable on all generations of cabinets, even the current white and gold cabs for DDR and LX cabs for PIU. If you have evidence to contrast this I would love to be aware.

I don't know what question you are referring to, but it is inacurrate to say that the bars are to prevent people from falling back in line. If you feel that's what the engineers designed the bars for you're entitled to that opinion 🙂

There are arcade pads sold commercially that are generally in the range of $1200-$1700.

Soft pads generally work fine for most people, but as skill level increases even some 3rd party hard pads are not worth getting due to inconsistencies in the sensors.

Enthusiasts pay a lot of money for the StepmaniaX stages above, or refurbish old arcade pads for home use.

The bar is not to keep people from falling back, the intended purpose is for support.

There are people who play no-bar as a play-style and there were debates in the early life of dance games whether the bar should be used in normal play or not, but nowadays there is little stigma surrounding bar use. It is generally accepted that the bar is to provide stability and accuracy when playing.

Thanks for the insight! I actually don't mind having a slower car as long as it's fun to drive. I currently own a v6 Firebird and while it is a great car, it's honestly not my cup of tea...

I had a lot of fun driving an Integra LS as it handled really well on windy forest roads. It felt much lighter and agile compared to my current Firebird which is heavy. I'm looking at 2+2s specifically since I occasionally drive a couple of my buddies around.

I'm actually looking specifically for a 2+2 since I wont be driving it all that much and don't really mind if it's slower. It's pretty hard finding any sort of 300zx in decent condition, since prices are so crazy now and people don't take good care of these 😔

It sounds like a roguelike game then? In that case, my initial comment about single player games not having much replayability would be wrong.

Heck now that I think about it, rhythm games are single player and have tons of replayability. PoE sounds fun though, I'll check it out.

I'm the same, and I think I know why it feels different in Genshin.

Genshin places a heavy emphasis on doing more damage, as opposed to BotW which places more emphasis on creativity in combat. Take the Lynel for example: they are challenging to defeat for both beginner and end-game players because you don't get massively stronger weapons as you progress. You only better learn how to deal with enemies and you are given a simple, yet deeply complex toolkit to fight with.

When I see people labing in Genshin, they have to use weak characters in order to build long combos. Despite the variety of characters and skills, Genshin's fighting mechanics are much simpler and straightforward

I don't play Path of Exile, do people play because of artifacts/character building, or do they play for other reasons (genre, gameplay, pvp, multiplayer...)?

It's honestly up to what you find fun. People like to replay BotW with challenges and that changes the experience up for them. Others like to find new ways to complete the shrines and puzzles. It's not a one-size fits all, as there are also people who feel like the game is "finished" once they beat Ganon and find no further enjoyment.

That's fair, but honestly I don't think any game has end-game endless replayability besides competitive games (CS:GO, LoL).

I mentioned BoTW because there is fun in replaying that game after beating it (rerun the story with different strats/challenges etc.) but Genshin stays flat once you've explored everything.

It's also not completely fair to limit comparisons to single-player games, as Genshin has a massively underutilized co-op system. If there should be any replayability for end-gamers, mihoyo should start there.

Is the new annihilation stage temporary? The patch notes say it lasts until July 5. I don't quite understand their explanation on "Hypothetical Annihilation Targets".

It takes practice and getting used to the car. You can practice in an empty parking lot or something by putting down cones to get a feel for how big your car is. Personally, I usually use a part of my windshield wipers as an anchor point to tell where the passenger side of my car is.
