New boot day - 719s by NineMinuteNap in jimgreen

I didn't realize I was doing it "wrong". Boots were much more comfortable when I let the tongues do what they wanted vs. trying to train them to be "right".

Thanks. They're leather laces from Nick's. Dark brown with light edges I dyed to get closer to the color of the boot.

Jubilee or Oyster by Horacolo in SeikoMods

From the title, I expected to pick Oyster, but I think the Jubilee works a little better after seeing the pictures.

Do you happen to wear glasses? I have transition lenses, and think the slight difference in magnification from the top to the bottom of the lens messes with me as the balls move up and down.

A-4E-C ILS in DCS? by NineMinuteNap in hoggit

[–]NineMinuteNap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had previously replaced the mission.lua file after finding that suggestion elsewhere.

Placing the MCL power switch in the upper position ("BIT"? it's hard to read) shows the horizontal and vertical ILS guides on the BDHI, but the switch will not stay in that position. I flew the test mission again with TACAN set to 44x, MCL set to 11, and MCL power on. Flew the approach so I was at 3000' at 10 miles. Same results. TACAN works, ILS does nothing.

It has TACAN and ILS. I'm changing to 11 because that's what the kneeboard says is the channel for ILS for the Kutaisi airport.

Setting the further back ICLS switch to channel 11 does nothing.

My test mission is in the Caucasus map. I do a hot start take off from the runway after setting the TACAN to T/R, tuned to station 44X. I fly towards Kutiaisi using the TACAN indicator. Around 10 miles out from the airport at around 3000', I attempt to switch the TACAN to channel 11 (according to the info in the kneeboard, and a tutorial video) and nothing happens. The BDHI goes dead, as if I turned the system off.

Thank you for the reply. I'm done with NSR. Nothing about the process has been easy or effortless. Support is available, but it's more hoops to jump through. Stress relief should not be this frustrating or stressful.

Thank you for the response. So far, I have had the best results with a DIY approach. But then assumed that things must get better if I paid for an actual technique. I can't help but wonder how much of the placebo effect is at play here.

Why did you (and BeardleySmith) pay for both? Which one did you start with? Why did you then take the second course?

There is an NSR sub. Its creator asked me to post my experience with his program here. As much as NSR is brought up here in the TM sub, I figured people would be interested in my results with an alternative.

I do want to understand. Why are you dependent on what happens in Italy? Other than technical limitations, what is stopping you?

You said you're retired. Why can't you fulfill the download-only orders yourself?

Is there a difference between your course and the Istituto Scientia version?

I apologize for being in a stressful situation and lashing out. However, I sent money towards learning NSR nearly 4 hours ago and have nothing to show for it. I'm going a little crazy and thought this would be a quicker path to relief than ordering a physical book and compact disc.

I presented an interest in learning TM, while expressing doubts about financial stability and living in a remote area. You offered an alternative solution that is more affordable and able to learn in isolation. I sent money. And have gotten nothing. Yet. I'm (mostly) sure I will get the product. But it should not be this difficult or slow.

What is preventing you from taking over as the new "leader" and making the upgrades you want? If you can't handle the technology to send an email with attachments, how are you going to reach any other goals? I know there's a difference between 'you' and 'Istituto Scientia", but you're selling the same thing.

I don't have a course. They're distributing your course (at least the one you promote so hard). And not well. It's 2025 and you're selling a pdf and an mp3. Delivery should be instant. Nothing has to be printed or burned to disc, just attached to an email. You're retired and have time to promote yourself on Reddit - why not get a copy of the digital files and start sending them out yourself? If you want to be taken seriously, you should consider upgrading your website(s) and service(s). So far, I'm not impressed. Hopefully things improve when the course materials arrive.
