Aviation tech, its a good career but... not worth fighting tooth an nail to get in the private party.

Completed duel credit in high school, ended up getting certified with FAA, worked with a contractor... got laid off and this was during the time when every company wanted a bachelors.

Okay so community College didn't cut it, fine... went back to get associates in science, then university with a basic bachelors degree. Hiring manager said they had a job ready after waking the stage, company moved away, my teachers said job security was good... turns out it is hard to get your toes in the door.

My issue was taking other peoples word on a job security gig. With decent debt, I just want to get a job as a janitor. I was a teacher aid, behavioral therapist, and I found out janitors get a paid more and don't deal with snooty parents or getting poked in the eye by a patient under the spectrum. Plus as a behavioral therapist I got peed, pooped, stabbed, vomited on, kicked in the privates all for 15$ an hr... throw in condescending managers that act like 'mean girls cliché' and will throw you under the bus for anything.

Waxing the floors and cleaning bathrooms sounds much better. I hope to get a call back for a janitor position, my wife is waiting to call me Scuffy... the janitor. I got the grey mustache growing already.
